🐱💛 FELINE PET OF THE MONTH: MIKO! 💛🐾

Help us celebrate Miko, our Feline Pet of the Month! 🏆 This sweet boy sounds like the perfect combination of cuddly, silly, and snack-motivated! 😂🍽️ From giving kisses on demand to protecting his family from any bugs that dare enter the house, Miko clearly takes his job as a beloved family member very seriously!

Here’s what Miko’s family had to say about him:

“Miko and his friend, Mac were adopted at 6 months old in 2018. Miko’s goal is to make me laugh. He’s loves attention and loves food but maybe food the most. He gives kisses on demand and loves everyone he meets. He also protects me from any bug that dares enter the house. He has the cutest chirps and loves to snuggle.”

🥹💕 Between his adorable chirps, love of cuddles, and impressive bug-hunting skills, Miko sounds like one special kitty! We’re so happy to celebrate him as our Feline Pet of the Month.

🐾💛 CANINE PET OF THE MONTH: KAYA! 💛🐾

Help us celebrate Kaya, our Canine Pet of the Month! 🏆🐶 We loved hearing all about this sweet girl and the special place she holds in her family’s hearts. From her sock-stealing adventures to her expert-level cuddling skills, Kaya sounds like quite the character! 😂💕

Here’s what Kaya’s family had to say about their favorite girl:

“Kaya is our family’s best friend. We got her after the loss of her dog mom’s childhood pet and she came in and filled the hole in our hearts. She is weird in the best way, living to steal socks and slippers but just to carry them, never to destroy. She is the most gentle, docile girl but she will run after a squirrel at full speed. She is referred to as an aggressive cuddler for her ability to force you to pet her anytime she desires by walking on your chest and going forehead to forehead. She thinks she should live outside until its meal time, treat time or she gets spooked by any sound. She is dramatic in the funniest way and always requires extra pets after vaccines because her legs stop working. We couldn’t imagine a better fur daughter for our human daughter to be best friends with and we love her more than we can describe.”

💙📞 STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK: CSR EDITION! 📞💙

We’re wrapping up Staff Appreciation Week by celebrating our incredible Customer Service Representatives at Main Street Veterinary Hospital! 🐾 From answering phones and scheduling appointments to greeting clients with a friendly smile and helping families navigate their pets’ care, our CSRs are often the first point of contact for our clients and an essential part of the Main Street experience. 🐶🐱

Working in client service takes patience, compassion, multitasking skills, and the ability to juggle about 10 things at once! 😅 Our CSRs keep so many moving pieces together while making sure our clients feel welcomed, heard, and supported. We’re so grateful for the hard work and kindness they bring to our hospital every day! 💙

✨ As we close out our Staff Appreciation Week series, we want to give one final shoutout to all the amazing people who make Main Street what it is. Every department plays an important role, and we couldn’t do what we do without each and every team member! 🥹💙
