Some pets can have a little separation anxiety when their person leaves them home alone. Some ways to help include making sure they have a safe place to relax while you're gone and gradually increasing time away from home so they become more comfortable with you being gone. Asking your Alexa to play soothing sounds while you're away doesn't hurt either. 😉

Many of you have reached out with questions and concerns about our announcement on Monday.

We want to reassure you: the VAC Team and Dr. Chris are here for your family! Even though we will be a one doctor practice for a while, we are making adjustments to provide care for our patients.

Vilonia Animal Clinic celebrates its 29th birthday this week. Over these 29 years, our goal has been to provide quality care to our patients and build strong, caring, lifelong relationships with our clients and their pets.Those relationships are comprised of your family, all your pets, our doctor AND our entire staff of experienced receptionists, certified veterinary technicians and veterinary assistants, many of whom have been at VAC for well over 10 years. Please reach out to us by phone, text or email if you have questions. We are grateful for our relationship and for your patience as we adapt in the coming weeks.

Dear VAC Clients,

We want to let you know that Dr. Jenkins’ last day at Vilonia Animal Clinic will be Friday, August 1st. He will be relocating to Westside Veterinary Clinic in Searcy, where he’ll begin seeing patients on Monday, August 4th.

We are proud and supportive of his next step and wish him all the very best in this new opportunity.

If Dr. Jenkins has been your primary veterinarian and you would like to continue your pet’s care with him at Westside Veterinary Clinic, we would be happy to assist in transferring your pet’s medical records to ensure a seamless transition.

If you have any questions or would like assistance with transferring records, please don't hesitate to contact us.
