Loch Moy Summer 1&2: Just two barn rats, all grown up, more obsessed with their ponies 🦄 than ever!

Huge thanks to the wonderfully kind show management and volunteers at loch_moy_farm. And thanks to Graybill Literacy and Learning for sponsoring the NDPC classes! Can’t wait for National Dressage Pony Cup next month!

And massive shout out to Laura who, despite being able to ride 2-3 times a week max the last couple months, improved every test this weekend by TWO percentage points! Way to go!

Groundwork sessions always put me in such a good mood. But I especially had soo much fun with Barb and her new young horse J this weekend. 😊 Barb’s response is priceless 😂 I guess I need to do a better job!

Question: I’ve been asked to come to Elizabethtown to teach regularly. Yay! Putting feelers out to see if there are other people in the area looking for dressage or groundwork lessons to figure out what’s in the realm of possibility. I would probably drive through Marietta, possibly Mount Joy and Manheim. Please PM thanks 😊

Last week the final two Kynynmonts - Sibyl and Kaden - left “the motherland” and went to their new loving homes. My team and I were able to sell or rehome 36 horses & ponies!

For the past two years, finding homes for the Kynynmonts has consumed me in ways I can’t fully put into words. There were moments I questioned everything, moments I cried, MANY moments I felt completely overwhelmed — but also moments that reminded me exactly why horses matter so much.

This chapter has been full of highs and lows. The highs of watching the right partnerships form, seeing horses understood, appreciated, and loved. The lows of the uncertainty, the emotional weight, the responsibility of making sure every decision was the right one.

Kynynmont Farm is still here and we will have some big announcements later this summer. I am delighted to finally put my full attention onto my current students and growing our barn family. Moving forward we will be building something a little quieter, a little more intentional, but still rooted in the same passion and care that has always defined this farm.

To everyone who supported me through this process, encouraged me, trusted me, or simply listened when it was hard — thank you. More than you know.

I especially want to thank Pam for bringing all of these wonderful horses into existence. The number of lives they will touch is infinite.

Thank you to the Liddell Family, especially Kirk, for the tremendous support.

Thanks to my friends and family for being so supportive and understanding.

Huge thanks to the team that helped make it all happen: Jen, Rachel, Connie, Bella, Olivia, Avery and Kelly and the rest of our amazing stable crew.

Thank you to the our support team: vets Dr Acland and Dr Minella, and our wonderful farrier Jason Hillman.

Thanks to Marynells at ACPS for all the guidance (and for processing so many transfers!).

Thank you to the people who now love and care for our precious horses and ponies.

And thanks to the horses themselves. My love for you taught me I could take on what felt like an insurmountable task. You helped me evolve and grow and get out of my comfort zone.

Thank you

Here’s to the next chapter 🩵🥂

💔 Homes needed before July 1 (firm deadline) for two very special horses.

Both are non-riding only due to physical limitations, and the mare should not be bred. They do not need to stay together.

Easy keepers, barefoot, and happy living out (may need a blanket). Both are incredibly sweet and love people, but can be a bit spooky—best suited for experienced horse homes.

Sybil – 2020 Connemara x Warmblood mare. Gentle, kind, and a wonderful companion for retirees or young horses. She lived out last summer with two mares in their late 20s, and is now baby sitting a youngster.

Kaden – 2019 Connemara x Warmblood gelding. Playful and social, does well with other horses too!

✨ Free to truly excellent homes only — the right fit matters most. References (including vet) required.
