Last week the final two Kynynmonts - Sibyl and Kaden - left “the motherland” and went to their new loving homes. My team and I were able to sell or rehome 36 horses & ponies!
For the past two years, finding homes for the Kynynmonts has consumed me in ways I can’t fully put into words. There were moments I questioned everything, moments I cried, MANY moments I felt completely overwhelmed — but also moments that reminded me exactly why horses matter so much.
This chapter has been full of highs and lows. The highs of watching the right partnerships form, seeing horses understood, appreciated, and loved. The lows of the uncertainty, the emotional weight, the responsibility of making sure every decision was the right one.
Kynynmont Farm is still here and we will have some big announcements later this summer. I am delighted to finally put my full attention onto my current students and growing our barn family. Moving forward we will be building something a little quieter, a little more intentional, but still rooted in the same passion and care that has always defined this farm.
To everyone who supported me through this process, encouraged me, trusted me, or simply listened when it was hard — thank you. More than you know.
I especially want to thank Pam for bringing all of these wonderful horses into existence. The number of lives they will touch is infinite.
Thank you to the Liddell Family, especially Kirk, for the tremendous support.
Thanks to my friends and family for being so supportive and understanding.
Huge thanks to the team that helped make it all happen: Jen, Rachel, Connie, Bella, Olivia, Avery and Kelly and the rest of our amazing stable crew.
Thank you to the our support team: vets Dr Acland and Dr Minella, and our wonderful farrier Jason Hillman.
Thanks to Marynells at ACPS for all the guidance (and for processing so many transfers!).
Thank you to the people who now love and care for our precious horses and ponies.
And thanks to the horses themselves. My love for you taught me I could take on what felt like an insurmountable task. You helped me evolve and grow and get out of my comfort zone.
Thank you
Here’s to the next chapter 🩵🥂
