Everyone has found their home 🥰

Last week the final two Kynynmonts - Sibyl and Kaden - left “the motherland” and went to their new loving homes. My team and I were able to sell or rehome 36 horses & ponies!

For the past two years, finding homes for the Kynynmonts has consumed me in ways I can’t fully put into words. There were moments I questioned everything, moments I cried, MANY moments I felt completely overwhelmed — but also moments that reminded me exactly why horses matter so much.

This chapter has been full of highs and lows. The highs of watching the right partnerships form, seeing horses understood, appreciated, and loved. The lows of the uncertainty, the emotional weight, the responsibility of making sure every decision was the right one.

Kynynmont Farm is still here and we will have some big announcements later this summer. I am delighted to finally put my full attention onto my current students and growing our barn family. Moving forward we will be building something a little quieter, a little more intentional, but still rooted in the same passion and care that has always defined this farm.

To everyone who supported me through this process, encouraged me, trusted me, or simply listened when it was hard — thank you. More than you know.

I especially want to thank Pam for bringing all of these wonderful horses into existence. The number of lives they will touch is infinite.

💔 Homes needed before July 1 (firm deadline) for two very special horses.

Both are non-riding only due to physical limitations, and the mare should not be bred. They do not need to stay together.

Easy keepers, barefoot, and happy living out (may need a blanket). Both are incredibly sweet and love people, but can be a bit spooky—best suited for experienced horse homes.

Sybil – 2020 Connemara x Warmblood mare. Gentle, kind, and a wonderful companion for retirees or young horses. She lived out last summer with two mares in their late 20s, and is now baby sitting a youngster.

Kaden – 2019 Connemara x Warmblood gelding. Playful and social, does well with other horses too!

Kynynmont Sybil — aka Ruby — has one Christmas wish 🎄: a safe, understanding home to call her own, with kind horses and patient humans to share her days with.

Ruby has significant neck and back changes on radiographs, so we’ve been carefully searching for the right non-riding home for her. She thrives best living a simple life with consistent care and turnout.

It’s important to be upfront: Ruby can be a bit tricky to handle and does best with confident, experienced people who understand boundaries and routine. That said, she is excellent in turnout, happiest with friends, and truly settles when her environment is calm and predictable.

A few weeks ago, Ruby’s three lifelong girlfriends left together for a performance home. Since saying goodbye to her sisters, she’s been lonely and clearly missing her herd — which makes finding her a soft place to land even more urgent.

Kynynmont Katrin, Kynynmont Kalin, and their sister from another Mister Donna Phoebe left for their new home 🏠 today in MD. All settled in great and are enjoying the grass!

We only have 2️⃣ Kynynmonts still looking for homes. Both of them are nonriding companion horses - one mare and one gelding.

We are hoping to find the mare, Kynynmont Sybil, a great home as soon as possible because she no longer has her sisters to hang out with 😔 There is also her full brother, Kynynmont Kaden. But horses are very good when in turnout, but sometimes need a competent handler to get them there, especially with the temperatures dropping!
