💔 Homes needed before July 1 (firm deadline) for two very special horses.

Both are non-riding only due to physical limitations, and the mare should not be bred. They do not need to stay together.

Easy keepers, barefoot, and happy living out (may need a blanket). Both are incredibly sweet and love people, but can be a bit spooky—best suited for experienced horse homes.

Sybil – 2020 Connemara x Warmblood mare. Gentle, kind, and a wonderful companion for retirees or young horses. She lived out last summer with two mares in their late 20s, and is now baby sitting a youngster.

Kaden – 2019 Connemara x Warmblood gelding. Playful and social, does well with other horses too!

Kynynmont Sybil — aka Ruby — has one Christmas wish 🎄: a safe, understanding home to call her own, with kind horses and patient humans to share her days with.

Ruby has significant neck and back changes on radiographs, so we’ve been carefully searching for the right non-riding home for her. She thrives best living a simple life with consistent care and turnout.

It’s important to be upfront: Ruby can be a bit tricky to handle and does best with confident, experienced people who understand boundaries and routine. That said, she is excellent in turnout, happiest with friends, and truly settles when her environment is calm and predictable.

A few weeks ago, Ruby’s three lifelong girlfriends left together for a performance home. Since saying goodbye to her sisters, she’s been lonely and clearly missing her herd — which makes finding her a soft place to land even more urgent.

Kynynmont Katrin, Kynynmont Kalin, and their sister from another Mister Donna Phoebe left for their new home 🏠 today in MD. All settled in great and are enjoying the grass!

We only have 2️⃣ Kynynmonts still looking for homes. Both of them are nonriding companion horses - one mare and one gelding.

We are hoping to find the mare, Kynynmont Sybil, a great home as soon as possible because she no longer has her sisters to hang out with 😔 There is also her full brother, Kynynmont Kaden. But horses are very good when in turnout, but sometimes need a competent handler to get them there, especially with the temperatures dropping!

We need your help! We need to find companion homes (Can be to separate places) for two Kynynmont Kids. Please share this post!

• Kynynmont Kaden – 2019 gelding
• Kynynmont Sybil – 2020 mare

Both are by the purebred Connemara stallion Kynynmont Cooper O’Grady and out of the warmblood mare Zaphire.

Due to individual issues, neither horse is suitable for a performance career nor for light riding. However, they are excellent candidates for companion or pasture homes. They both rank a 10 on the personality, love 🐛 bug scale.

Kaden is a kind, easy-to-handle gelding who gets along well with nearly any turnout group. He can be cautious with new objects or changes in his environment but remains straightforward and manageable.

Sybil is a sweet-natured mare who tends to be lower in the herd hierarchy. While she does have an occasional spook, the majority of the time she is quiet and laid back, making her well-suited as a companion or “pasture puff.” She’s gets along great with the AARP members of the Kynynmont herd. She’s that sweet!

Both horses are good for turnout and would make excellent additions to a herd or just to be a buddy for another single horse. We are looking for safe, responsible homes where they will be well cared for.

Big congratulations are in order for Kathy and her trainer Tammy on the purchase of Kynynmont Jamison O’Grady!! The joy Kathy felt when she tried Jamison was palpable, and you could tell he felt it too!!

Many tears were shed when he left Kynynmont on Sunday, but we are so thrilled for his future!

Kynynmont Cian, 14.3h 2018 Purebred Connemara Gelding (Kynynmont Cooper O’Grady x Kynynmont Arianna) is offered to a responsible, loving, capable home at no cost.

Cian had surgery on his stifle in December 2024. He is serviceable sound but does best at walk-trot and with relaxed expectations. He is a sweetheart but sometimes acts like the teenager he is and would not be suitable for a green or timid rider.

Anya arrived in NC last night and has settled in like a pro. Amy has a holistic program and we are so excited to see Anya blossom 🌸!

Meet Kynynmont Emma, a 2020 Halfbred Connemara mare standing at 15.1+ .

Emma is a sweet, uncomplicated young mare with a lovely temperament. She’s not spooky or naughty. This beautiful young mare is ready to start her next chapter—with the right person.

Emma has received comprehensive veterinary care for inflammation and synovitis in both stifles. Treatment included injections and shockwave therapy, with no tears noted on ultrasound. After a careful and successful rehab, Emma is now walk/trot/canter under saddle and is a happy, willing partner.

Check-up ultrasound on 8/26/25 showed improved synovitis and improvement in the appearance of the medial collateral ligaments. Still mild to moderate effusion on imaging. Depending on her work level her stifles will need maintenance.

She perfect for someone looking for a kind-hearted, lovely mare to enjoy. And who knows - with the right amount of work and care, Emma might go on to a competitive career, but that’s not how we are promoting her.

We’re looking for a kind, knowledgeable, and committed home that will continue to prioritize her long-term soundness and well-being.

Emma wears four shoes. She has great ground manners, is super to lead, and currently is turned out with other mares.
