Little miss Pepper managed to swallow her mom’s entire earring (we can only imagine how bad that felt going down). We took her to surgery to remove the earring from her stomach and she was a little trooper! She is home and recovered! 😻😻

A reminder that tick season is upon us! Please make sure your pets are on heartworm and flea/tick prevention!

This photo shows the results of a 4Dx snap test. It tests for the three most common tick-borne illnesses, (Lyme, Anaplasma, and Ehrlichia) and this dog tested positive for all 3!! We recommend testing dogs annually and keeping them on prevention year-round.

Signs of tick-borne illness include:
• Shifting leg lameness
• Joint swelling and pain
• Fever, lethargy, decreased appetite
