Our Pet of the Month for April is Axle!

"Axle is an almost 6 year old German Shepard/Lab mix. He’s a giant baby and lap dog. If he could be anywhere he would be outside, laying in the sun, no matter how hot it is. He spends most of his day sleeping in very weird yoga positions and playing with his doggy and human brothers. He loves tug of war and sleeping under mom and dad’s bed."

Congratulations Mr. Axle! It was a perfect fit for our April pet of the month! He is such a good boy! :)

Our Pet of the Month for March is this adorable big head boy Ferry! 🥹 How could you not just melt looking at that face??

"Ferry Corsten Colyer, originally from Fults, immigrated to Columbia as a 6 week old kitten. He picked out his human by lying down across her shoe, thus forcing her to pick him up in order to move. He enjoys life at home with his siblings Wayne, Didi, Ava and Dodger. While well past retirement age at almost 18, he continues to work daily as a feline alarm clock. He feels everyone should rise by 6:00 at the latest and never takes a day off. After this job is accomplished he enjoys a long nap. Ferry also patiently helps foster occasional kittens for the shelter. He enjoys head scratches, trips outside to the patio and sleeping. His family loves him very much!"

Cangratulations Mr. Ferry!!! We all love you buddy!

Our Pet of the Month for February is Juniper! This sweet kitten definitely landed into a great home. Here is what they have to say about this sweetie.

"My name is Juniper. My nicknames are Junie and Junebug. I have a cat brother named Jellybean and a dog sister named Jade. I was found on a farm very malnourished when my new parents found me and took me home. I was skin and bones and I'm so thankful for them because they saved my life. I'm happy and healthy now in my forever home!!! 🐾"

Congrats Juniper!! We love having you here and your LOUD purr motor! 🥰

Chuck is still looking for her forever home! She would love to have a person or lap to hang out on and just get loved on! As you can see she is such a love bug! The brush is one of her favorite things! 😍🥰

Everyone meet our Pet of the Month for January, Nellie Grace!

"Nellie is the love of our life. We got Nellie 9/22/2021. She is a 4 year old Schnoodle, her mom is a Giant Schnauzer and her dad Standard Poodle. Nellie loves going for car rides, playing outside any chance she can get no matter what the weather and loves any toy that squeaks, especially if her owners Sarah Ann, Emma or Molly want to try to get it from her. Nellie is definitely a daddy’s girl. Loves following him around like a shadow and going to work with him. She completes our family and we couldn’t imagine our lives without her."

Nellie is such a sweet girl and they are definitely a perfect match! Congrats Nellie! 🥰

We just wanted to send out a quick reminder that tomorrow is the last day to pick up any of your pets food and/or medication before the new year. After tomorrow our office will be closed until Friday, January 2nd.

Holiday Closure reminder! 🎅

Our office will be close Wednesday, December 24th through Wednesday, December 31st. We will reopen with normal business hours at 8AM Friday, January 2nd.

If your pets is on any prescription medications or food, please check to see if a refill is needed before we leave for the holidays.

Our Pet of the Month for December is this sweet girl, Sadie. She is a newer member of the Columbia Animal Hospital family and we could not be happier that she did! Here is a quick bio that her parents put together for her.

"We rescued Sadie 11-1/2 years ago when she was 6 months old. We were her third, but fortunately, forever family. Her name when we got her was Nancy but that wasn't going to work, as obviously she's a Sadie. She had a lot of wild and crazy pup in her initially but calmed down to become the sweet girl she is today. A favorite of everyone who meets her, her sweet & loving disposition comes across quickly. She has brought us much joy and we feel blessed to have shared life with her. "

You guys are sure lucky to of found each other!! Congrats miss Sadie! 😍
