Our Story

Hickory Ridge Animal Hospital is located in the heart of Columbia, Maryland. The practice has been serving the veterinary needs of Columbia's dogs, cats and other small mammals since 1981. As of July 2011, the practice was acquired by Dr. Kecia Parrish, DVM, who plans to continue making Hickory Ridge a wonderful place for pets and their people. We care deeply about every patient, treating every pet as if they were our own. Our complete veterinary services include: routine examinations, vaccinations, spay & neuter, surgery (soft tissue and orthopedic), dental care and cleaning, laboratory diagnostics, radiology and ultrasound. Our clients enjoy access to Hickory Ridge Animal Hospital's boarding facilities. Our techs may also provide limited grooming procedures such as bathing and sanitary trims upon request. Dr. Kecia Parrish DVM and the entire staff at Hickory Ridge Animal Hospital look forward to serving you and your pet for many years.
