“What are you obsessed with?”

Dr. Cujdik: Helping bulldogs breathe better.

Never seen someone so genuinely passionate about helping the breed as they are equally passionate about the breed.

Good morning from Buttercup 🧈🥞🌼.

I can’t believe the days of the back porch step pics are coming to an end as Buttercup nears adoption!

It hasn’t even been a week and look how nicely Rosie is healing 😍🤩!

Shes safely and sustainably down to 27lbs from 32lbs! In 2 weeks!

Rosie couldn’t be healing any better from her complete BOAS and spay surgeries.

She joined Team Paws Up today for her daily dose of love and a medicated bath.

She has become a completely different dog since she joined Bulldog Better.

We’ve got a long way to go, but her transformation is already unbelievable.

The perfect technique does exist.

Dr. Cujdik has performed complex revision BOAS surgeries, complete airway reconstructions, created functional nostrils where there were virtually none… and even operated on tiny special needs bulldogs with conditions like spina bifida and hydrocephalus.

Every case is different. Every airway is different. But precision, experience, and an obsessive commitment to doing things the right way matter.

Breathing is life — and these dogs deserve the chance to finally do it comfortably.

Persimmon Petticoat officially underwent her BOAS surgery with Dr. Cujdik!

Her procedure included:
✨ Soft palate resection
✨ Removal of everted laryngeal saccules
✨ Tonsillectomy
✨ Stenotic nares correction
✨ Spay

Percy was considered a high-risk surgical patient due to her spina bifida and hydrocephalus, making careful anesthetic planning and post-operative management especially important. We’re incredibly happy to share that she tolerated the procedure very well and is now recovering comfortably at home with her wonderful family.

A huge shoutout to for the incredible work they continue to do rescuing and advocating for special needs bulldogs. We are honored to support your mission and be a part of Persimmon’s journey.

Chronic upper respiratory infections in cats can sometimes point to an underlying issue deeper within the nasal passages or throat — including inflammatory polyps.

This patient underwent a fully sedated scope procedure to allow for a safe, thorough evaluation and tolerated the procedure very well. At Paws Up, patient safety, comfort, and pain control are always our highest priorities when it comes to sedated and anesthetized procedures.

Every procedure includes a full pre-operative workup and careful monitoring from start to finish to ensure the safest possible experience for your pet.

Cats are notorious for sprouting hidden polyps! If your kitty is suffering from mystery, chronic upper respiratory symptoms that you can’t seem to kick, give us a call!
