PAALS - Palmetto Animal Assisted Life Services We train assistance dogs to help people with disabilities live more independent lives.

Our mission is to enrich and empower children and adults with physical disabilities and social needs by training service dogs and providing animal assisted educational and recreational activities. PAALS trains assistance dogs to help individuals with disabilities other than blindness or deafness. These dogs can help with a vast array of tasks to assist with physical disabilities and social needs.

Our assistance dogs to help individuals with mobility disabilities, veterans and others with PTSD/TBI and children with autism. We also train facility dogs who work with a professional in a variety of health, education or rehabilitation facilities. We also conduct many programs within our community to educated about service dogs and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Our fosters play a vital role in raising and preparing service dogs-in-training. Providing them with love, structure, and socialization that sets them up for success.
