🐾 A Huge Thank You to Mars PetCare! 🐾
Last week, our Pet Soup Pantry trailer was completely empty. We have a food distribution scheduled for Friday, November 7 and we didn’t know how we were going to meet the need. We reached out to Alicia Summers and our friends at Mars PetCare, and they immediately stepped up with an incredible donation of six pallets of dry dog and cat food!

The purpose of our Pet Soup Pantry is to provide pet food as an emergency resource for families in need across the Midlands — helping keep pets with the people who love them and reducing the number of animals surrendered to local shelters.

Mars PetCare truly saved the day for our pantry and for so many families who depend on us. We are deeply grateful for their generosity, compassion, and unwavering support for pets and the people who love them. 💛🐶🐱

If you’ve found a stray animal, thank you not just for stopping, but for caring. In that moment, you became a Life Advocate, and your compassion could be the reason a beloved pet makes it back home — or gets a second chance at life.
Here’s what to do next:
✅ Check for a microchip at any local vet or visit us at Pawmetto Lifeline.
✅ If chipped, reach out to the pet’s family. You could be their miracle.
✅ If not chipped, post on neighborhood sites, Facebook groups, and put up flyers because someone is probably searching.
✅ Avoid taking them to a municipal shelter, where pets are often at risk of being euthanized if unclaimed.

✨ Bambi Update! ✨
Remember Bambi — our tiny tornado of joy with the wobbly paws and giant heart? 💖 This special 3-month-old Boxer mix was found dumped in a driveway, covered in infected sores, but she’s been determined to shine ever since.

Bambi’s condition is neurological and likely genetic, which means her little body didn’t quite follow the blueprints. Her front legs curve like abstract art, and her back legs… well, they’re mostly decorative. But don’t tell Bambi that — she wants to walk so badly! 🐾

She can take a couple of enthusiastic hops on her feet and has mastered the art of scooting backward (forwards, not so much). She’s taking it day by day, and our team is working on getting her some wheels in the near future so she can zoom like the happy pup she is!

Despite her challenges, Bambi loves to eat, play with toys, and be part of the fun — just like any other puppy. The vets say she’s not built to walk on her own, but that doesn’t stop her from trying with every ounce of determination in her little body. 🌈

Bambi will always be supported by Pawmetto Lifeline, and we’re looking for the perfect match — a compassionate, experienced home ready to celebrate every moment with her.💫

A huge shout-out to Theresa, Bambi’s incredible foster mom, for giving this little fighter so much love, comfort, and joy every single day. 💕

**COME MEET ME THIS SATURDAY!**
Meet Jupiter, the gentle giant. We believe she is a Cane Corso or Mastiff mix. She is a loving 2-year-old mama who was found on the side of the road with her two tiny babies. When she was rescued, she was heartbreakingly thin — she had given every bit of strength she had to keep her little ones alive.

Thanks to some wonderful people, Jupiter and her puppies were brought into our Home-to-Home program. Her babies are now safe, but sadly, Jupiter’s journey isn’t over yet. She’s currently being kept in a crate in the backyard, still waiting for the loving forever home she truly deserves.

Jupiter is gentle, sweet, and endlessly loyal — the kind of dog who will love you with her whole heart. She even knows some great basic commands like sit, down and paw. If you’ve ever considered adopting a loving companion, please open your heart to Jupiter and give her the second chance she’s been waiting for. 💕🐾

💙Kai needs your help💙

This sweet kitten, Kai, was brought in by kind-hearted good Samaritans after being hit by a car. Despite everything he’s been through, Kai’s spirit shines bright — he’s still full of love and purrs.
Right now, Kai is being rushed to the ER, where he’ll need x-rays to assess the damage to his legs and determine the next steps for treatment.

Any and all donations will go directly toward his medical care and recovery.

Every bit of support helps give Kai the bright future he deserves. 🐾💕
