That's right, Aquatic Technology is hiring! 🐠 We are seeking a dedicated crew member to grow our team. This position is for Saturdays and Sundays with an occasional weekday or two possible, but not required.

As an aquarist at Aquatic Technology, you will care for fish, corals, and invertebrates, assist customers, clean tanks and the store, and help with maintenance of the facilities. At times you will be required to perform tasks that require lifting and physical labor.
An applicant must be available 11:00-5:00 on Saturdays and Sundays, with POSSIBLE occasional hours during the week. We are open until 5:00pm on weekends and 6:00pm on weekdays.

Job Responsibilities:
Assisting customers with an emphasis on customer service (this is your #1 job), taking care of livestock, maintaining our 200+ aquariums including cleaning and scraping the tanks and filters, occasional loading and unloading, completing all tasks assigned to them such as but not limited to: Housekeeping duties, stocking and pricing products, and lifting bags up to 60 lbs. on a regular basis

In Store:
We strive for positive and relaxed interactions with customers and an eagerness to learn and/or teach about the hobby.

Product Knowledge:
Must have a passion for the aquarium hobby and be willing to learn about saltwater livestock.

Schedule:
Weekends are a must with an additional one or two days Monday through Friday possible, but not currently required.
You must be available Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00-5:00 and would possibly have some weekday availability also.

💰Pay is based on experience.

Spotlight on: Rabbitfish! 💡 Rabbitfish are among the best algae grazers in the aquarium hobby. With so many species to choose from, any one can make an excellent addition to a reef or FOWLR setup 🐠. They are generally very hardy, and easily take to prepared and frozen foods.
