10 years young, single, neutered, and no kittens.

Looking for someone who enjoys:
• long naps on the couch
• chin scritches on demand
• quiet nights in
• low drama and good company

Buddy is a healthy senior gentleman who’s mastered the art of relaxing. He’s not looking for a “nurse with a purse”- just a cozy home, a comfy couch, and someone to love him through his golden years.

His ideal match:
✔ appreciates an older man
✔ understands that naps are a personality trait
✔ willing to provide unlimited affection and occasional treats

A note about Buddy-
Buddy is in urgent need of rehoming to no fault of his own. He is currently at an assisted living facility in Albany, NY. His current owner is being moved to memory care and cannot take Buddy with her.

Enzo’s Friendz has been caring for Buddy for the past 6-7 months, we have a deep connection with Buddy and want the best for him. We are helping to screen, but his owner’s children have POA and have final decision making over Buddy’s rehoming.

Buddy has lived as a single cat, we don’t know how he would do with other cats or dogs. We believe he would do best with older children, who are respectful with animals. He has been tested with our children that are 9 and 10 and did well.

Buddy will come with everything needed to get him started. A cat carrier, a litter box, litter scooper, litter and food. Enzo’s Friendz is willing to sponsor transportation locally.

Does your pup need a dog walker that is willing to take time to get to know them?

Some dogs need extra time to warm up to a new person or routine. We understand the need to be patient with these types of personalities.

Sasha the Malinois was a bit shy when first meeting us but now is a regular of ours! Before hiring us, Sasha was anxious and needed anxiety medication. Her mom was happy to report to us she no longer is taking those meds! 🥰

Regular walks do more than burn energy, they help your dog’s mind too!

Regular walks provide:

- Mental stimulation through new smells, sounds, and environments

With temperatures climbing today, we’re keeping a close eye on conditions to make sure every pup stays safe, hydrated, and comfortable. That means extra water breaks, shade time, adjusted walks, and lots of cooling-off play indoors when needed.
