Walking in the Wild is a great class to get you and your dog out working in real world environments while improving your leash walking skills! 🐾

Our next round starts Sunday, May 31st!

The details:
Looking for a way to enjoy the sunshine with your dog? Leash walking is the way to do it! It’s that time of the year again when we love going on walks with our dogs. In this class Walking in the Wild we practice our leash walking skills with other dogs in the real world. Week 1 will be at the training room located on Railroad Ave to go over our skills and make sure we are prepared. Weeks 2-5 will be in various places throughout the Capital Region. This class is intended for dogs 1 year or older. Dogs must not be dog reactive in any way. Class size is limited.
Dates: Sunday May 31th, June 7, June 21, June 28 and July 5
Time: 10am - 11am
Course length: 5 weeks
Cost: $200

Canine Good Citizen - it sounds so boring, but, I love the structure it adds to my training, and who doesn't love a class where you get a ribbon at the end?

Not only can it be a nice stepping stone for Therapy Dog Prep, it builds the skills you need to take your dog out in public - and it gets the treats out of your hand! And again, you get a ribbon!

Oh that age between six months and a year where you alternate between loving your dog so much you could cry, and wanting to strangle them. The time when their brains are growing and one day they are a genius, and you feel like the best dog owner in the world, and the next you want to hide behind a tree.

We know those feelings, we live those feelings - so let's feel them together in Puppy Too; the class specifically designed for the adolescent dog. Yes, we work on our sits, our downs, even our stays - and the ever popular loose leash walking, polite greetings and recalls. But Puppy Too is more than that - we are also providing a safe place to build up their ability to work around other dogs and people, to be able to do our sits and downs in public instead of in our living room. And it is a judgement free zone!

We still have a few spots left in our upcoming sessions and we would love to see you - because even though they look like an adult dog, they are still puppies too!

Puppy Class is starting on May 17 at Good Choice Dog Training - will you be joining us? You totally should because not only do you get to spend an hour with puppies - you give your puppy the best foundation.

Take advantage of supervised puppy play for socialization and use our space to expose your pup to all kinds of surfaces and new experiences. And BONUS - your puppy goes home tired and you have time to get things done in the afternoon.

Two convenient weekend times are still available - Sunday at 9:30am or 11am - and don't worry if you are looking for week night classes, Tuesday times with Becky are also available! E-mail Alissa at [email protected] to sign up!
