Happy Horse MASK Monday! It's that time of year again when people ask us "what the heck do the horses have on their faces?" Fly masks! Masks provide protection for our horses' eyes and ears from flies and other annoying bugs while they are grazing. We spray the rest of the horses' bodies with fly spray, the way you might when you go camping, to protect them from itchy/painful bites from mosquitos, flies, and ticks.

We've been trying to find a way for the minis to get a little, but not TOO much grass when there isn't a ton of extra time to hand graze them during the working day. Philip and Brianna created a little grassy walk out for them this week! This will allow us to get them all the benefits of fresh forage with out risking the health issues that minis can quickly develop when they are over grazed. ☺️
