Yall, Id like you to meet Maverick! This two year old Rotti is as sweet as can be but isn’t so sure about strangers. We’re going to build up his confidence, establish some healthy play, and of course sprinkle in a little obedience.

Clyde and I went for a nice long walk earlier this evening. We saw numerous passing vehicles, a couple ATVs, and two goats 😜

When we got back to the house, he was greeted by my kiddos that were playing in the front yard. Clyde enjoyed playing with them for about 20 minutes and they were having a total blast together. Here’s a little edit for yall to watch 🐾

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a fantastic holiday season and got to soak up some well-deserved family time. We sure did, and it was great to have a little quiet moment before diving into the new year.

But now, it’s time to jump back into the swing of things! Today I’m officially kicking off 2026 with our first new trainee of the year: Clyde. Clyde is about one, and is a mix breed that was found running the streets of Palm Bay. Clyde was found running around with a female dog with the name of……yep, you guessed it, Bonnie! Bonnie and Clyde were making life work as best as they could but Clyde ended up going to an amazing home with an outstanding owner. Clyde’s owner realized that Clyde is a bit much for her to handle so she came looking for professional help. We are certainly glad he ended up here and trust me, he’s going to be a fun one to watch as we go along.

So, if things have seemed a bit quiet on our page lately, don’t worry, thats standard for us during December as we prepare to ramp right back up! We’ve got a bunch of exciting plans in store and lots of fresh training content coming your way this year, in particular some unheard of training experiences that our clients can benefit from! Stay tuned and get ready for an amazing 2026 with Eastern Florida Dog Training! Let’s get to work, Clyde!🐾

Our buddy Zeuss (Zu or Zuey 🤣) wrapped up his training program with Duane, and this fella crushed it! He was rescued from a shelter two separate times but due to his behavior was brought back. His forever home invested into his future and now they get to have their happy ever after together 😍😜🐾

Anther go home session in store for today with this sweet girl, Evie! While out spending some time together this morning, I randomly felt the need to make a quick video on a topic that can really help a lot of dogs. I know I’ve talked about this topic in relation to overcoming insecurities but a dog doesn’t need to show fear of something in order to gain confidence. Find random objects for your dog to get on top of. If they are hesitant about it, that’s good and expected! Show them they can do it and watch more notches get added to their confidence 💪🏻
