The Brevard County Dog Training Club (BCDTC) is a Not for Profit Florida corporation, section 501(c)(4), and is also a licensed affiliate of the American Kennel Club (AKC) offering classes for both purebred and mixed breeds of all ages. Our mission is to advance the interest of and enrich the lives of dogs and their owners.

It's not too late to sign up for our Sampler Class! This is the perfect class to take if you're not certain what dog sport you may be interested in getting involved in or if you're just looking to get involved with something new!

Each week you will learn and practice a different activity. This may include Rally, Agility, Scent Work, Obedience, Walk This Way, Games, Tricks, Freestyle and more.

We are hosting our next TDAA trials on Saturday, July 26th and Sunday, July 27

We will be offering runs on Friday, July 25 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm.

Location: The BCDTC at 625 Gladiola Dr, Merritt Island, FL 32952

TDAA is considered a smaller dog sport. Dogs that measure 20” and below from the withers.

Another Schedule Update!

Due to popular demand we have added an additional Agility 1 class on Friday's from 11am - 12 pm!

There has also been a time change for Intro to Scent and Novice Scent.
Intro to Scent will now be meeting from 6pm - 7pm and
Novice Scent will meet from 5pm - 6pm

‼ NEW PUPPY CLASSES ADDED TO THE SCHEDULE ‼

We have added two new Puppy Building Block classes to our upcoming session for puppies ages 13 weeks to 7 months.

This puppy training course offers a structured program of positive reinforcement, ensuring that puppies are gradually introduced to various environments, sounds and sensory stimuli, promoting confident growth and development. Use this class to prepare your pup for life in normal situations in and out of the house. This course will concentrate on what the instructor terms "recall bootcamp".

The two of you will learn how to use positive training methods to teach basic commands such as sit, down, stay as well learning to come when called and the beginnings of leash walking.

You will also get to work with experienced instructors who can answer all your puppy raising questions about housebreaking, jumping up, chewing and any other common puppy behaviors you would like to address.

🐾 For puppies who weigh LESS than 25lbs, class will be on Friday's at 6:00pm
🐾 For puppies who weigh MORE than 25lbs, class will be on Friday's at 7:00pm
🐾 This will be a 5 week course that runs from June 27th- August 8th
🐾 2 sets of the DHLPP vaccine ("puppy vaccine") prior to starting class. Rabies vaccination is required at 6 months. A titer is sufficient for vaccination status. Bortedella is recommended.

Looking for a fun way to bond with your dog but you’re not sure where to start? Join us for our Fun Sampler class this session at the Brevard County Dog Training Club!

This class is 7 weeks and each week features a new and fun sport including tricks, scent, agility, obedience, fetch, games, and dance!

Classes start May 3rd and are Saturdays at 10:30am
