🎃📸 Happy Halloween! Dressing up your pet today? Before you snap that adorable photo, make sure their costume is safe and comfortable.

Choose a costume that lets your pet move freely, see clearly, and breathe comfortably. Avoid small pieces they could chew or swallow, watch for signs of overheating, and always supervise your pet while they’re dressed up.

Keep it safe, keep it comfortable, and enjoy those Halloween photos! 🐾🧡

Most people never see half of it, and we are so grateful for all of it. 🩺

Our technicians handle far more than the exam room reveals, from anesthesia monitoring to emergency triage. Join us in recognizing them this National Veterinary Technician Week. 💙

Exercise doesn’t have to mean running miles! 🐾 Slow walks, swimming, sniff adventures, and enrichment games can help dogs stay active while being gentle on their joints. Every little bit of movement counts.

Proper leash control = happier, safer walks. 🐶✨

Stick to a standard 4-6 ft leash, keep a secure grip, and always look for that relaxed "J" shape slack while you walk!

Save this post for your next walk! 📌

Keeping your pet healthy starts with safe food handling. Here are a few simple ways to reduce the risk of foodborne illness:

🧼 Wash your hands before and after handling pet food.
🍽️ Clean food and water bowls after each meal.
🥄 Use a clean scoop for kibble—don't scoop with the bowl.
🗑️ Toss spoiled or expired pet food right away.

🚨 Stay up to date on pet food recalls and stop using recalled products immediately. If your pet experiences vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, or loss of appetite after eating, contact your veterinarian as soon as possible. Keeping feeding areas clean helps protect both pets and the people who care for them.

A tasty treat can bring a little extra joy to your cat’s day! 😋 Whether it’s a reward after a vet visit, a special snack during playtime, or simply a way to show some love, treats can be a fun part of your cat’s routine. 🐾 Just remember that treats should be given in moderation and paired with a balanced, nutritious diet to help support your cat’s overall health and wellness!

Training is one of the greatest gifts you can give your dog. 🐾 Not only does it build confidence and strengthen your bond, but it also helps keep them safe in everyday situations.

One of the most important skills is a dependable recall (“come”). Even if your dog usually listens, it’s safest to keep them leashed in unfenced or unfamiliar areas until they have a reliable recall, and remember, even well-trained dogs should stay leashed where local leash laws apply.
