🐾 Furbaby Friday Feature 🐾

This week we're featuring Winnie, a sweet 4-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with an inspiring story. 💙

Winnie may be a little shy, but she has the kindest heart. She was rescued from a breeding situation and had to have one of her eyes removed before finding her forever home. Despite everything she's been through, she continues to greet the world with quiet sweetness and resilience.

Winnie visited us for her annual wellness exam and vaccines. She also has a rare inherited condition called **Curly Coat Syndrome**, which can affect the skin, coat, paw pads, and eyes. The good news is that Winnie's condition is currently stable, and her family is doing a wonderful job managing her care.

We're so happy Winnie found a loving home that gives her the care she deserves. She was a perfect patient, and we loved spending time with this special girl. 🐾💕

Did you know mental exercise is just as important as physical exercise for your pet?

Keeping your dog or cat engaged can help reduce boredom, relieve stress, and even prevent unwanted behaviors.

🐾 Furbaby Friday Feature 🐾

This week we're featuring Maddie, a beautiful 6-year-old Clumber Spaniel! 🤍🤎🐾 Clumber Spaniels are a rare breed, so we were especially excited to meet this sweet girl.

Maddie came in for her wellness exam, vaccines, heartworm testing, and to get monthly prevention. Her family also had concerns about her watery eyes and paw licking, which can sometimes be signs of allergies.

After her exam, Maddie went home with a treatment plan to help keep her feeling her best. Allergies are common in dogs and can show up as itchy paws, watery eyes, ear irritation, or skin issues. Fortunately, there are many options available to help manage them and keep pets comfortable.

Maddie was an absolute sweetheart during her visit, and we can't wait to see her again. We hope she's already feeling some relief! 💙

This week, we're celebrating the incredible Veterinary Assistants who help make exceptional patient care possible every single day.

Whether they're helping comfort a nervous puppy, assisting our doctors and technicians during appointments and procedures, monitoring patients, running treatments, preparing exam rooms, trimming nails, or lending a helping hand wherever it's needed, our VAs are always ready to jump in with compassion and care.

Their days are fast-paced, their responsibilities are endless, and their dedication never goes unnoticed. They are an essential part of our team and play a vital role in keeping our hospital running smoothly while making every pet feel safe and cared for.
