Question: Why does my cat think her food dish is "empty" when she can see the bottom of the dish? There is still plenty of food in the dish.

Tabby's answer: This is the old glass half full or half empty question. Of course the food dish is "empty" when you can see the bottom of the dish, just go and refill the dish when you see this.

Ear Mites! These nasty little mites live in the ear canals of dogs and cats. Usually we find them in puppies or kittens, but adults can get them too. They are very easily spread from one animal to another, but humans don't get them, thank goodness!
