As you can see in the picture below, this sweet 3-month-old female kitten is an absolute dream. She is absolutely stunning to look at — but we think all our animals at the shelter are beautiful! 🥰

This little girl is packed full of fun, fluffy energy, and she is just waiting to find her perfect match. Whether she’s practicing her fierce kitten pounce, chasing after her favorite toys, or just melting into a purring puddle right in your lap, Bubbles is guaranteed to steal your heart the second you meet her. She's at that magical age where every single day is a brand-new adventure, and she would love nothing more than for you to be right there by her side for all of it.

Meet Colby, our incredibly handsome 1 1/2-year-old Shepherd mix who is officially searching for his forever family!

Colby actually came to us a while back as an abandoned pup. It breaks our hearts to think about his rough start, but you would never know it by looking at him today. He hasn't let the past dull his sparkle for a single second.

This boy is the absolute definition of happy-go-lucky. Seriously, Colby wakes up every single day with a wagging tail, a big goofy smile, and a heart full of love. He is just so incredibly sweet and has the kind of positive energy that instantly brightens up any room he walks into.

At a year and a half old, he is at that perfect age where he’s past the chaotic baby puppy phase but still has plenty of fun, playful energy. He is so ready to learn the ropes of being a cherished family dog and a loyal best friend.

Okay folks, we’re ending today with a truly wonderful dog.

Meet Josephine — or JoJo, as we like to call her. She’s 2 years old and somehow checks just about every box you could ask for in a family dog. She’s loving, incredibly smart, great with other dogs, friendly with cats (which deserves some extra applause), and she adores kids too.

So why is she still here?

Honestly, we have no idea.

Every evening when we walk through the kennels, we find ourselves stopping at JoJo’s door and wondering how this sweet girl is spending yet another night in a shelter instead of curled up on a couch with a family of her own.

She’s the kind of dog who makes life a little brighter just by being around. The kind of dog who should be heading out on weekend adventures, soaking up belly rubs, and finally having a place to call home.

Josephine has been waiting patiently for someone to notice her. Maybe that someone is you.

It’s getting a little hard to watch all the bags getting packed while hers stays in the closet.

Shania arrived here a few months ago with her 11 brothers and sisters. One by one, we watched her entire family get chosen, loved on, and walked out the front door to their new lives. Now, it’s just her.

She just passed her 6-month birthday, which is a huge milestone, but it honestly breaks our hearts that she’s starting to grow up inside a shelter kennel instead of a living room. She is your typical, wonderfully loving puppy who deserves to be cuddling with her human on a couch or learning how to fetch in a real backyard.

Being an Australian Shepherd mix, she’s got brains, beauty, and so much love to give. She is genuinely the sweetest girl, and we just don't understand how she keeps getting overlooked. Holler is a beautiful girl with a heart full of love, but she doesn’t give it away to just anyone right away. New people can be a little scary for her, and she needs time, patience, and understanding to feel safe. The world can seem overwhelming at first, so she prefers to take things slow and get to know people on her own terms.

But oh, when Holler decides you’re her person, everything changes.

The shy, uncertain dog melts away and reveals an incredible companion who is affectionate, loyal, and absolutely wonderful to be around. The people who know her best can’t help but smile when they talk about her. Beneath that cautious exterior is a truly amazing dog just waiting for someone to give her the chance she deserves.

Right now, Holler is enjoying life in foster care, and we want to give a huge shoutout to our incredible foster families who open their hearts and homes to dogs like her. Being in a foster home has allowed Holler to relax and show more of her true personality, but what she really needs is a forever family of her own.

Holler isn’t looking for perfection. She’s simply looking for someone willing to be patient while she learns to trust. In return, she’ll give a bond that is deep, genuine, and worth every moment spent earning it.

Poor Alice is having a pretty tough time lately. She is only a year and a half old, but she is already feeling the heavy weight of shelter life. The noise and constant changes are just a bit too stressful for her, and it is incredibly clear how much she misses being in a real, quiet home. She is such an adorable little gal on the hunt for her new best friend, and it is heartbreaking to see her waiting day after day in a kennel when she has so much love to give.

When she is out of the stressful shelter environment, Alice has been known to be quite the affectionate lap cat who loves spending time with her people. If anyone out there has a vacant lap, she would be more than glad to keep it warm for them. She isn't just a snuggler, though. She still has that fun, youthful energy and loves to play and pounce. She truly enjoys climbing tall cat trees and gently watching the birds fly by the window.

Since she lived with other cats in her last home, she might even enjoy the company of a feline friend in her new place to help her settle in. She is a wonderful little cat who is sure to provide a lifetime of smiles to whoever gives her a second chance. Alice just needs someone to take her away from the shelter and show her what a comforting, loving home feels like again.

Bosco has spent nearly six months waiting for someone to see past his fears and notice the wonderful dog hiding underneath. Day after day, he watches people walk through the shelter doors, hoping this might finally be his turn. So far, not a single adoption application has come his way.

At just 2½ years old, Bosco is a handsome Shepherd mix with so much life and love ahead of him. The shelter can be a scary place, and meeting new people can be overwhelming for him. Because of that, he may seem shy or uncertain at first. Bosco isn’t the kind of dog who immediately runs up to strangers asking for attention. He needs a little time, a little patience, and a chance to feel safe.

But the people who know Bosco best will tell you that once he becomes familiar with someone, he is an amazing dog. When he’s comfortable, his personality shines. He relaxes, trusts, and shows just how sweet and loyal he can be. The challenge is simply giving him enough time to get there.
