🐾 Meet Hunter! 🐾

Looking for a lovable older gentleman with a sweet personality? Meet Hunter, a 9-year-old Chow Chow who is ready to find his final forever home!

Hunter may not be your typical Chow Chow this handsome guy absolutely LOVES everyone! He is incredibly patient, affectionate, and always ready to make new friends. 🥰 He also has plenty to say and will happily tell you all about it with his big personality!

And if you have a squeaky toy, you may have just found Hunter’s new best friend! He absolutely LOVES squeaky toys and could happily spend his day playing with them.

Hunter:
🐾 Loves squeaky toys!
🐾 Gets along well with other dogs
🐾 Has not been tested with cats
🐾 LOVES going on walks

Hunter was surrendered to Riverview because of his passion for hunting skunks and chickens. While he is a sweet, loving gentleman, he will need a home with no poultry where he can safely enjoy his retirement without temptation.

At 9 years old, Hunter is hoping someone will look past his age and give him the final forever home he deserves. He has so much love, personality, and companionship left to give.

Celebrating Decades of Dedication at Riverview

Today, we want to take a moment to recognize some pretty incredible people.

Karen, Amanda, Vic, and Shawnna have each been part of the Riverview family for a decade… or two… or even three!

Over all those years, they have cared for thousands of pets and the people who love them. They’ve comforted worried owners, celebrated new puppies and kittens, helped patients through difficult days, and said goodbye alongside families who have trusted us with their pets for generations.

Their knowledge and experience are invaluable, but what we appreciate most is the compassion and heart they continue to bring to Riverview every day.

Veterinary medicine has changed a lot over the last 30 years, and Riverview has grown and changed right along with it. Through all of that, these amazing women have been a part of our story and have helped make Riverview what it is today.

Karen, Amanda, Vic, and Shawnna, thank you for the countless animals you’ve cared for, the clients you’ve supported, the coworkers you’ve helped along the way, and the many years you’ve chosen to spend with us.

We are so incredibly lucky to have you.

POV: You ask what it's like working with animals all day!

Turns out about 40% of the job is medicine and the other 60% is wearing the evidence home. 😂

Lint rolling ourselves before we leave has basically become part of the uniform.

Wouldn't trade it for anything. ❤️
