A New Year Without My Heart Horse 💔
This New Year feels different.
For the first time, I’m stepping into a new year without my best friend by my side after 19 years. The one who taught me patience when I had none. The one who carried my fears, my dreams, my tears, and my trust.
The one who changed me forever.
Losing you didn’t just leave an empty stall, my Pearl girl, it left a quiet ache in my heart that time hasn’t filled. Some days are easier than others, but moments like this remind me just how deeply you meant to me.
As 2026 begins, I carry you with me. In every lesson you taught me. In every horse I train. In every quiet moment when I pause and remember the feel of your presence.
This year, I choose to honor you, my sweet Pearl, by continuing forward, by loving fiercely, and by never forgetting the horse who made me who I am. ❤️
Here’s to a new year filled with memories, healing, and gratitude… even when it begins without you. Forever my heart horse.

What a way to end the year and have major goals building up my content. We all start somewhere. I sure love Adios Pantalones and Red Hot Barrel Horses.🔥

Elliot as we know is more on the sensitive side and just gaining his confidence each ride and getting him to soften up is key. Yes he is still a little tense, but honestly I am very proud of him as with the colder weather, our warm up sessions aren't as long, so he can be a little more "fresh," but is figuring it out each ride. He does have a more comfortable side as you can see in the video, but eventually with time he will soften up on both sides. Today was his first day with me riding him in a bit vs a halter. He was following a feel well, and I am telling you each ride is better. Just the cold I am expecting a little more friskiness, but he is able to be controlled through it and that is all I ever prepped him for on the ground. ❤️ 😍
Remember every journey is different and always remember to trust the process. 🌟
