Happy 4th birthday to my legendary App ❤️

When I named her Seven, I had no idea how much she would live up to it.

Seven is the perfect number. On the 7th day, God rested.

What makes today even more special is that I realized it’s also the anniversary of the day I got Pixie and rode her for the first time.

For those of you who don’t know, Pixie was my heart horse. She taught me so much and made me dig deep, blood, sweat, tears, laughter, joy, and so much more from one tiny little red horse with the biggest heart ❤️
(Easy On The Frost - the inspiration behind my business name 🥹)

Most of Pixie and I’s journey together was an uphill battle. It was challenging in so many ways, but because of that, the reward was even greater.

With Seven, everything has been so fun and so easy. She’s made every stage of training truly enjoyable. She’s brought so much luck and goodness into my life, and she’s worth her weight in gold.

She’s a true gem 💎

Vulnerability is a strength 🔥💪🏽

It took me years to realize this is just part of the process. Social media makes it difficult to make posts that don’t show the ugly mistakes. They show all of the perfect ones. People can make assumptions that they haven’t gone through anything like this.

Sometimes it happens during practice, sometimes it happens during a race with everyone to see and that’s okay.

I’m not embarrassed or ashamed of mistakes. It lets me know where my horse is at right now, and where they need support.

Consistency and time will gradually fix these errors. Growth is an uphill battle, we shouldn’t beat ourselves up over this type of thing. Sometimes we need to shift our perspectives to see the growth in the horse and ourselves. ❤️
