Today the horse world lost one of the best. Mr Ronnie Drinkard passed from this life today to go home to be with the Lord. Mr Ronnie was a former BOD and Vice President of The Central Alabama Horse Club. He was a cherished member and friend that was more like family. His passion was investing in youth and passing on his knowledge to the kids to help them be the best horseman they could be. Mr Ronnie you are loved and appreciated and will be extremely missed. Please remember Ms Glenda, Neal, Melodye, and Micah in your thoughts and prayers.

The Central Alabama Horse Club's first Fall Fun Show of this season will be held on September 27th . Show time is 10:00 AM. We will have Halter, Pleasure, Ranch Rail, Gaited, Leadline, Fun Classes and Timed Event Classes. Looking forward to Fun Times. Make plans to join us and show with us this Fall. **** FALL FUN SHOWS ****
Let's talk Fall Fun Shows and Cowboy Race Challenge dates. Please mark your calendars so that you will be sure to be with us on the following dates. Looking forward to some fun relaxing shows.

**September 27th - Fun Show classes, including halter, walk trot, pleasure, gaited, costume leadline, fun classes, and timed events.
**October 18th - Fun Show Classes, including halter, walk trot, pleasure, gaited, costume leadline, fun classes, and timed events.
**December 6th - Cowboy Race Challenge. We will have obstacles set up in the arena. You get points for every obstacle completed and the fastest time wins.

We hope that you all will make plans to join us and show with us at these shows. We will post the program soon. Looking forward to fun times.

The last MSHA sponsored show of the season will be this Saturday, August 9th at the Autaugaville Arena and will be hosted by ALAQHA. Show time is 10:00 AM. This is a qualifying show to reach your 6 shows to show at the AOHA State Show and to qualify for MSHA Year End Awards. Don't miss it. Please contact Blake Moore with any questions.

Happy 90th Birthday to our Ms Barbara Petty. Ms Barbara is one of our founding members of The Central Alabama Horse Club. Thank you for all your years of service. She has served as Board Member and Secretary and Treasurer. Plus our boss lady that keeps us all inline. We love you and appreciate you so much. Hope your birthday is the best one yet!
