Gentle souls make the best companions. Meet Kascia ⤵

Female
DOB 06/15/24

Kascia is a quiet, cautious girl with the sweetest heart. She takes her time getting comfortable, but once she does, her gentle nature truly shines. She’s soft, calm and affectionate in her own subtle way — the kind of kitty who offers peaceful companionship and tender moments.

Kascia would do best in a patient, loving home where she can feel safe and bloom at her own pace. For someone who appreciates a mellow, sweet soul, Kascia will be a truly special companion.

All ARK cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.

Charming, affectionate and playful — Gus has it all! This super sweet gray-and-white boy is ready to find his forever home! 🐾

Male
DOB 9/30/25

When it’s playtime, this guy means business! Gus loves to race around and wrestle the dogs in his foster home. To top it off, he’s loves pets, and he’ll eat up all the attention you give him. He embodies the typical kitten spirit — curious, playful and full of love.

He may look like a pirate with his one eye (it was removed after an infection), but he’s a big softie. It certainly doesn’t slow him down! Now happy and healthy, he’s a favorite at his foster home.

Gus gets along well with other cats and dogs.

All ARK cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.

Today we celebrate all the reasons we love cats. 🖤🤍🧡

Cats make us laugh with their silly antics, comfort us during difficult days, greet us at the door (when they feel like it!), and somehow turn an ordinary house into a home. Studies have even shown that sharing your life with a cat can help reduce stress and provide companionship and emotional support.

Whether they're curled up in your lap, chasing a toy across the room, or keeping watch from a sunny windowsill, cats have a special way of making every day a little brighter.

On this National Cat Day, we're especially grateful for the cats and kittens who have come through our rescue and for the families who have opened their hearts and homes to them.

If you're thinking about adding a feline friend to your family, there's never been a better time. Somewhere out there is a cat who is waiting for someone just like you.

🐾 Share a photo of your cat in the comments and tell us what makes them special!

May is the perfect mix of loving companion and fun playmate, and she’s more than ready to find a home where she can have a lifetime of being cherished. Could May be the missing piece your family has been waiting for?

Female
09/01/24

May is a sweet, affectionate girl who spent far too long surviving on her own outdoors, and now she’s ready to enjoy the love and comfort of a forever home. Despite her rough start, she has an incredibly gentle heart and adores people. She loves being held, happily soaks up affection, and will make you feel like the most important person in the room.

May’s frostbitten ears are simply a cosmetic reminder of the life she left behind, and they only make her even more adorable. They give her the cutest little teddy bear appearance that’s impossible not to fall in love with.

She gets along well with other animals, and would likely do well with respectful children.

All ARK cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.

This sweet girl has been with our rescue for a while, easily overlooked because she is very shy. But she has come so far in the last year, and we'd love to find the perfect home for her! Please share this post!

Taffeta may be Ms. Independent, but after a little patience, she'll show you her sweet side. She loves the other cats in her foster home (so she MUST have a cat buddy at her new place), and she's good with dogs and cat-savvy kids.

💞 Are you her new family? Come meet her and find out...

Female
DOB 8/28/24

Taffeta is a sweet girl who needs someone willing to push love on her. She got her socialization to people a little later than ideal. She is able to be pet, and is very sweet! She is already coming out of her shell at her foster home. She loves the other kittens there, and she will be a lap cat before you know it.

Good with cats, dogs, and cat savvy kids

Meet our midnight kittens — tiny house panthers with giant personalities. If you’ve been dreaming of a sleek shadow who follows you around, purrs like a motorboat, and makes every room feel cozier, come meet our newest litter.

Two female kittens, plus adult female (mama)

This adorable crew of black fluffballs is officially ready to find their forever homes. They’re sweet, silly, curious, and absolutely convinced they’re majestic creatures of the night (even when they tumble off the couch).

Meet our newest batch of kitties:

Rain is a little bit more shy but she loves attention once she starts getting it.

Louise was adopted into this litter after she came to us all alone, and she fits right in with her littermates. She is sweet and curious, and she will purr your ear off!

The mama of this crew is Leia. She is shy, quiet and a little standoffish, but she is so sweet once she feels more comfortable, and may even come up to you to show some love.

*Congratulations to Kylo, Roxy and Raisin for finding their new homes!

Adopt a little shadow today — they promise endless love and zero bad luck.

Kittens under 12 months require a young cat or kitten friend in their new home.

A cautious kitty with a tender heart, just waiting for the person who understands slow, steady love. Meet Rosemary 🐾

Female
DOB 10/15/25

Rosemary isn’t like her sister, Honeysuckle — she prefers to take things slow and likes her space, but she’s a real sweetheart! She is learning to be more affectionate as she gets used to her surroundings, and she’s snuggling with her kitty friends more often. She just needs a family who is patient enough to let her bloom. She has been doing great in her foster home, where she loves to lounge in whatever comfy spot she can find.

This soft, shy girl would do best in a home with no dogs and only older children.

All ARK cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.

This girl is just as sweet as her name — meet Honeysuckle! 🏵

Female
DOB 10/15/25

Honeysuckle is a love bug! She literally wants to be around people and loves other cats. She has soft gray fur and beautiful yellow eyes, and she’s always on the lookout for the next chance to snuggle.

While she is very loving, she doesn’t love dogs, so she would do better in a home with no canine friends.

All ARK cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.
