Somebody asked me if I was happy about how my bunnies did at the show we went to this past weekend. My reply was, "They were exactly where God wanted them to be."
We all want to be winners. But there have to be those that are not, those that work hard and put in the effort, strive for excellence, yet still don't get that blue ribbon. That's what makes getting that achievement, getting that blue ribbon, such an accomplishment. It's diminished when everyone gets a blue ribbon. So we continue to pursue the prize; be it a ribbon, a goal, or a relationship with God.
I wear hats for my shows with special sentiments on them. For this show the sentiment was " Stay Humble, Hustle Hard". With my placings, which none were firsts🤣🥰, God was telling me to remember why I was participating in this in the first place; knowledge of rabbits, enjoy meeting others in the industry, and HAVE FUN! He was reminding me that I was still very much a novice at this a with time, continued work, respect for good advice and wise decisions, one day my turn to win the blue world come. In other words...Stay humble and Hustle hard!
We did have some very generous comments on our BEWs and Sable Points that were on exhibition.

Ms. Erin Carr (and spouse) you once again handle all the entries and paperwork seemingly without effort While we know that you have more than enough with your own rabbits and other business projects at home
Ms. Gwen Jones..to say your cakes were delicious would be an understatement. But they don't compare to the organization that was shown in putting the awards, the raffle table, the lunch, etc. Very professional and nicely done.
To Vendors your presence was also appropriate and appreciated.
