Town & Country Veterinary Clinic & Emergency Hospital is seeking a dependable, animal-loving individual to join our hardworking team! This full-time position includes:
🛁 Bathing dogs
🐾 Walking and caring for pets

🐾 Adoptable Kittens Available Now! 🐱

Through our Town and Country Kitten Adoption Program, we currently have several adorable kittens looking for loving homes! Most of our kittens come from stray situations and are brought in by clients, then receive:

✔️ A full health check
✔️ Testing for Feline Leukemia & FIV
✔️ Vaccines, Deworming & flea prevention

🎉 Huge congratulations to my daughter, Andrea, on an incredible achievement! 🎉

She has been working tirelessly as a veterinary intern at The Ohio State University, and all of her dedication and passion have paid off—she just matched for a residency in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care at Cornell University! 🐾❤️

I am beyond proud of her hard work, perseverance, and commitment to providing exceptional care for animals in their most critical moments. Cornell is lucky to have her, and I can't wait to see all the amazing things she will accomplish!

🌟 Exciting Updates at Town and Country Veterinary Clinic! 🌟

We have proudly provided 24/7 emergency care since 2007, and we’re thrilled to share some exciting changes starting January 18, 2025:

🐾 24/7 Emergency Care
We are now once again available for Tuesday overnight emergencies, restoring our ability to provide emergency care around the clock, 7 days a week! If your pet needs care after 11 PM any night, please call ahead to check for wait times, as emergencies are prioritized based on urgency.

📅 Evening Routine Appointments
We’re introducing new evening appointment slots on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. These are perfect for busy families who need flexible scheduling for wellness visits, vaccinations, or follow-ups.

🚨 Emergency Diversion Policy
To ensure the best care for every patient, our hospital may occasionally reach its emergency capacity, especially after 11 PM. During these times, we will go into diversion and cannot accept new emergencies. If this happens, our answering service will notify you and recommend contacting another facility, such as Virginia Tech.

🎄 Holiday Hours at Town & Country Veterinary Clinic 🎄

This holiday season, we want to ensure our staff can spend time with their families while continuing to provide urgent and emergency care for our clients and surrounding areas. Our hospital will be open for urgent care and emergencies on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with early appointments available on Christmas Eve only. Emergencies after 8:00 PM will be referred to VA Tech Veterinary School at 540-231-4621.

While the hospital will close to new emergencies after 8:00 PM, our dedicated staff will remain on-site around the clock to care for all hospitalized and boarding pets.
