🐾 Happy Birthday, Cydney! You look great at 12. You’re going to help your breed improve average life expectancy, and that’s a good thing.

🐾 You have seen our family through 3 address changes, 2 college graduations, 3 weddings, 1 large loss, 1 new love, had 4 litters totaling 29 puppies. You endured the accident that caused you to lose sight in your right eye and you are still bringing so much joy.

🐾 The world could use a lot more dogs like you!

🐾 The first time I went searching for the wee lad I couldn’t find him until I lifted moms back leg. With the additional 10 ounces since birth he is much easier to find. 😂

🐾 Still needed to get AnnieO’s surgery suit on all the way. Instead pup decided to nurse through the leg opening. So I waited and enjoyed the moment instead!

🐾 Mom and her one puppy are doing really well. Puppy weighed in at 18.2 ounces. This morning’s weight check 19.8 ounces.

🐾 Pretty easy to gain weight when every food outlet is for you alone! 😜😂

🐾 Annie Oakley welcomed one puppy by c-section today. In breeder terminology a singleton.

🐾 This certainly is not what we were aiming for when we bred her, but here we are. Yes, here we are learning all the things we need to do to raise the best and healthiest pup possible. And we will. Count on it.

🐾 As I am laying next to the whelping box listening to the nursing pup and mom I am feeling tremendous gratitude for the adopting family who said yes to a boy OR a girl, to for her friendship and constant support with years of knowledge (she truly is a Breeder of Merit), to who deserves husband of the year award, to the entire team is incredibly responsive, for their education for breeders is second to none.

🐾 There are always more folks to thank but for now this is my list.

🐾 Miss Oakley is pregnant. Whelping window opens on Mother’s Day. Her Spring 2025 litter is sold.

🐾 Applications are open for her next breeding which we expect sometime in Nov/Dec of 2025. Puppies would come to you in early 2026.
