What you’ll do:
✔️ Care for and ensure the safety of dogs staying at our facility

✔️ Maintain a clean environment
✔️ Feed and provide fresh water throughout the day
✔️ Deliver great customer service to pet parents

💔 Yesterday at 12:30 PM PST, the Vaughns said their final goodbye to their beloved Sir Loki Von Vaughn.
Born May 16, 2012 — Passed May 21, 2026.

According to the Vaughns, “Loki wasn’t just a dog. He was our heart healer.

In 2012, we lost our beloved Jonah. The pain was unbearable. Less than a month later, this little German Shepherd puppy was born. We brought him home that July, and from the very first day, Loki poured love into the holes in our hearts. He saved us in ways we can never fully explain.”

Yesterday, his mom, Jamie, held his paw and looked into his eyes until the very end. His sister, Grizelda Vom Zhaus, stayed right by his side, never leaving him. We are so grateful for their presence and love in those final moments.

“We also want to give the deepest thanks to Dr. Green at Heart’s Companion for the extraordinary compassion and kindness shown to Loki and to our family. Your care made this incredibly difficult day a little more bearable.

Loki, you were the best boy. Loyal, silly, protective, and full of so much love. You brought joy to every single day for nearly 14 years. We will miss your happy zoomies, your gentle soul, and the way you always knew when we needed you most.

Run free, sweet Sir Loki. Thank you for choosing us. We will love you forever.”

From obedience to building confidence and skills, Eco continues to impress us with his intelligence, focus, and strong work ethic. We are excited to watch him continue to grow and succeed!
