Axel and his friends can't wait for the adventures that await them tomorrow during Snout and About at Chesapeake Animal Services! Snout and About is a chance for our pups to spend extended time away from their kennels, explore the local area, and maybe even meet their new families. Our pups enjoy walks, checking out dog-friendly businesses and restaurants, or just chilling out and enjoying a car ride. Pup cups are always appreciated😋

No experience is necessary to participate in Snout and About, and children are welcome! We will provide you with a backpack full of supplies for your adventure. All you need to supply is love💞

🔥All Fired Up!🔥

It’s that time again and Tierney is excited for tomorrow’s Firehouse Field Trip, a collaborative partnership between Chesapeake Animal Services and the Chesapeake Fire Department

Every other month, a shelter animal will spend the day touring Chesapeake’s fire stations. The program is mutually beneficial, relieving stress and bringing joy to both the fire department personnel and shelter animals in Chesapeake💞

Tierney is a 2-year old Pittie-mix who came to us as a stray. Our volunteers tell us that Tierney is well-mannered, sweet, and gives lots of kisses!🥰 She loves to run around the play yards but is never too far from her person just in case she needs an emergency snuggle. We are excited to see how Tierney spends her day with Chesapeake Fire tomorrow!😍
