As the weather gets warmer and summer arrives, it's important to remember a few safety tips when taking your pets on adventures with you!

❤️Don't leave your pet in the car! Temperatures inside parked vehicles can reach over 100 degrees in minutes, even if the car is parked in the shade with all the windows cracked. Extreme heat can be fatal as pets cannot sweat to regulate temperature like humans.

❤️Make sure your pet has access to fresh water and shade when outdoors! Walking in extreme heat is not advised, especially on pavement as it can damage their paw pads.

Onsite registration begins at 9AM; program begins at 10AM and ends around 1PM.

🐾❤️Fast and Furious 2026, look at all these speedy pups! With Dr. Richardson making her event debut, we had such an amazing time meeting everyone and giving out fashionable pet-tattoos (of course). Thank you to Independent Animal Rescue for inviting us to be apart of this special event! ❤️

❤️Pictured below is before and after a dental cleaning with Dr. Robertson. Our surgery team works hard to keep your pet's teeth pearly white! Plaque containing proliferating bacteria adheres to the teeth, and if not removed daily, it hardens to for calculus (pictured below).

🦷Daily tooth brushing is the most effective form of dental care/prevention, however dental chews, diets, wipes and treats can help scrape some of the plaque off as well. If you notice your pet has bad breath they should be examined as soon as possible, as odor is caused by bacterial infection, and indicates diseases in the mouth.

Sneak peak of Dr. Robertson performing an ear cytology! She is looking for any sign of yeast or bacteria that would indicate an infection under the microscope. 🔬🧬

❤️Ear infections can present with symptoms of brown discharge, shaking head, scratching ears, or redness in the ear. If you notice any of these symptoms, let us know! We always want to help your buddy feel better!
