🐴🤔🐮 The horses have some questions…

Willow arrived last night, and of course the horses had to come investigate the strange new creature on the other side of the fence!

They couldn't quite figure out what she was. A cow? A tiny horse? Some kind of funny-looking pony? 😂

Needless to say, Willow made quite the first impression on her new barnmates! ❤️

🐮💕 There's a new face in the horse barn!

Meet Willow, our newest barn resident at Blue Heron Riding Academy!

Willow is a 2-year-old Mini Zebu who stands just 37 inches tall! And even more exciting… she's expecting a calf next June! 🐮❤️

She's settling into her new home in the horse barn, and we're excited for our riding students and families to get to know her!

Willow will also be joining in on some of the fun at Blue Heron Farm, including Farm School, camps, and other farm events.

Our barn family just got a little bigger (and a whole lot cuter)! 🥰

Be sure to say hello to Willow next time you're at the barn! 🐮💕

🐈‍⬛ Happy National Black Cat Day to Templeton!

He may not be on the riding lesson schedule, but he takes his job as the official parent lap warmer VERY seriously! 😂❤️

If you've watched a lesson at Blue Heron Riding Academy, there's a good chance Templeton has invited himself onto your lap. He's never met a spectator he couldn't turn into a personal cat bed! 🐈‍⬛🐴

Who else has had a visit from Templeton during lessons? 🖤

🌙 There’s something special about the barn after dark. ❤️🐴

Curtis and the boys were off camping last night, so evening chores were all mine. Just me, the horses, and a beautiful almost full moon lighting up the night.

No rushing, no distractions. Just a peaceful evening at the barn and a little reminder of why I love this life. 🐴🌙✨

Sometimes it's the quiet moments that are the best. ❤️

Sorry, can't. We have very important things to do. 🎃🐴

And by very important, we mean putting ridiculous costumes on horses who have absolutely no idea what's going on. 😂

🐴 It's more than just riding lessons!

It's learning to care for horses, building confidence, making friends, celebrating accomplishments, and creating memories along the way. 💙

There's so much more to learn at the barn than just how to ride!

What's your favorite barn memory? 🐎❤️

Looks like the whole gang came over to say hello! 🐴❤️

And then there's Daisy, our mini mule, making sure she doesn't miss out on any attention by peeking through the gate! 😂
