🐐 Baby Goats Available Soon! 🐐

We've had so many calls and messages asking about baby goats lately!

The good news? Our available goats will be listed on our website this Friday, and they're all ready to head to their new homes. We have several super sweet kids available that would make wonderful pets, companions, or backyard milkers.

If you've been waiting for the right goat to add to your family or homestead, keep an eye on the website Friday for photos and details!

Who is hoping to add a goat (or two πŸ˜‰) this summer? πŸπŸ’•

Goat Camp Day 2! 🐐🐴

Today's riding game was Red Light, Green Light using our real stoplight! Campers practiced control, steering, and listening skills while having fun in the saddle.

After riding, everyone painted a wooden goat magnet to take home. Following lunch, we learned all about milking goats. Patient Gravy helped us learn the difference between hand milking and machine milking, and every camper got a chance to try hand milking for themselves!

We also visited the goat pasture to spend some time with the herd before heading back to continue training our obstacle course goats. Campers practiced leading, stopping, and working through obstacles as they prepare for Thursday's competition.1

Another busy day at Goat Camp!

Evening chores πŸŒ™πŸ

The milking girls are coming in for the night! We milk-share with their kids, so the does spend the night in the barn while the babies stay out in the pasture.

Tomorrow morning starts bright and early with a 5:30am milking before everyone is reunited for the day. ❀️

This little routine is how we collect the milk used for our goat milk skincare products, raw goat milk, and soon, our herd share families.
Farm life doesn't stop when the sun goes down! πŸŒ…πŸπŸ₯›

Goat Camp Day 1! 🐐🐴

We started the day learning horse safety, grooming, and tacking up our horses. Then it was time for a game of Beep Beep while riding!

After riding, campers tie-dyed their camp shirts and enjoyed lunch before heading to goat yoga. The afternoon was spent meeting the goats, choosing their training partners for the week, and beginning work on walking and obstacle course skills.

And because this is a real farm, we had an unexpected visitor! A very large snake decided to slither into the arena just as our first riding group was getting ready to mount. Apparently he was hoping to catch a baby bird for lunch. Sharon quickly convinced our uninvited guest to continue his adventure elsewhere. πŸπŸ˜…

No one was harmed, camp continued as planned, and the snake has probably become the most talked-about part of the day!

Swipe to see our surprise visitor.
