Another "Thank You!" to our new hole sponsor, SDPcreative of Millersburg, PA for the June 6 Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter - CVAS benefit golf tournament at Caledonia Golf Club. Sign-up is online and easy at www.charitygolftoday.com/CVAS2025golf - Single $95, Foursome $350 and Foursome with an appreciation sign is $425. Michaux is a special guy that was found badly injured in the Michaux state forest area. He arrived at the shelter in rough shape, he was skinny, had wounds all over his legs and his back left leg was degloved, infected, and broken. He was taken to be evaluated and thanks to our Second Chance Fund Michaux underwent surgery to remove his leg and save his life. Michaux certainly does not let missing a leg slow him down! He is a lovable guy that would love to find out what it means to have a loving forever home! He has been neutered, vaccinated, FIV/Felv tested, dewormed, and microchipped since his arrival at the shelter.

Tinman and Ruby are on their third time here at the shelter and they are only 5 months old. They arrived at the shelter as strays and neither one has ever been without the other and they are very bonded. They were adopted out the first time and brought back because they were displaying typical kitten behavior such as climbing and jumping up on countertops. They were brought back a second time because they adopters decided that they no longer wanted to have cats. Tinman and Ruby are super sweet and would really love to find a loving forever home together where kitten/cat behavior is understood. They have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, FIV/Felv tested, and microchipped since their arrival at the shelter.

Lars is a sweet guy that loves to go in the play yard and play! He is around 2 years old and will need someone that can provide him with regular exercise and loving! He weighs 62 pounds. He does have a high chase drive so a home without cats or small animals may be best for Lars. He did arrive at the shelter with another dog and did not seem to mind sharing his space with others. Lars may be too much for small children. Lars would love to find out what a loving forever home is all about soon! He has been neutered, dewormed, Heartworm/lyme tested, and microchipped since his arrival at the shelter.

Timber arrived at the shelter after he was found roaming in the nearby state park. He is a friendly, low-key guy that LOVES to go on car rides! Timber did test positive for Lyme Disease and due to symptoms has started antibiotics for it. He is around 6 years old and weighs in at 65 pounds. Timber does not have a tail, but you can tell by his whole body how happy he can be as it wiggles too! Timber would do best in a home with older children that can respect his space. Timber would love to have a loving forever home soon where he can get all the car rides, he can get! He has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, Heartworm/Lyme tested, and microchipped since his arrival at the shelter.
