Sweet Millie recently visited Dr. Underwood for her puppy appointment and was the very best student! From learning about vaccines and nutrition to socialization, training, and all the important puppy basics, she soaked it all in like a pro.

Puppy visits are about so much more than just exams — they help build confidence, create positive experiences, and set puppies up for a lifetime of happy, healthy vet visits. We think Millie is already acing Puppy 101! 💕🐶

Dr Binder’s Patrón recently spent the day with us for some extra TLC after not feeling her best. She was hospitalized with IV fluids, medications, and close monitoring and while it was a tough day for this sweet girl, she made sure to soak up every bit of comfort and attention she could get. 💜🐾

Thankfully, RVT student Katie was more than happy to provide the cuddles, reassurance, and emotional support Patrón needed throughout her stay. By the end of the day, it’s safe to say these two had become best friends. 🥹

Hospital days can be stressful for pets, so moments like these are such an important part of patient care. Sometimes a warm blanket and extra snuggles help just as much as the medicine. ✨

Little Raider came in to see Dr. Binder for his puppy visit and quickly discovered one of our favorite puppy-approved distractions, spray cheese! Safe to say he was a very brave boy for his exam while enjoying his special treat. 💛

Puppy visits help build positive experiences at the vet from an early age while we monitor growth, discuss vaccines and parasite prevention, and answer all of those new puppy parent questions.

Cosmo came in recently for his annual dental cleaning and decided that waking up afterward was simply not on his agenda. 😴🦷

Instead, this sweet boy chose to stay bundled up like the little burrito he is while being passed from staff member to staff member for extra cuddles until his parents arrived. Safe to say Cosmo has us all very well trained. 💜🐾

Routine dental cleanings are so important for keeping our pets healthy and comfortable; helping prevent dental disease, pain, infection, and even issues affecting other organs. Cosmo may not have wanted to leave his cozy recovery suite, but he went home with a sparkling clean smile! ✨

Chagrin Animal Clinic recently had the pleasure of hosting Amelia and Jourdin from Cats Only Veterinary Clinic in Columbus for an in-depth training on updated Fear Free feline handling 🐱

Our team spent the day learning new techniques to make visits less stressful and more comfortable for our feline patients—because better handling means better care.

Of course, no training would be complete without some very patient (and slightly suspicious) participants… so a few of our staff members’ own cats were “volunteered” for the cause 😅 A common risk of being owned by a veterinary professional: you double as a teaching aide!

Huge thank you to Amelia and Jourdin for sharing their knowledge and helping us continue to improve the experience for our kitty patients 💙

Some appointments are just extra dangerous for productivity. 😍🐾

Dr. Lubinger and RVT Jess recently had the tough job of performing a litter exam on this adorable crew of kittens and their sweet mama. Everyone checked out well, got lots of attention, and of course received plenty of snuggles along the way.

Kitten exams are an important part of giving little ones the healthiest start possible. It helps us monitor growth, check for congenital concerns, discuss vaccines/deworming, and answer all those new kitten questions.

We’re pretty sure the hardest part of the appointment was giving these fluffballs back. 💕🐱

Who needs coffee when you get to start your day with Happy and Grace? ☀️🐶

These sweet siblings were in last week for their annual dental cleanings and made themselves right at home with the staff. While they were here getting their teeth cleaned and polished, they also made sure to collect as many pets, compliments, and cuddles as possible 🥰

10/10 patients. Would absolutely spoil again. 💕
