Bittersweet, but today will be the last day of operation at South Russell Veterinary Hospital before we head to Newbury to open the doors of Cricket Ridge Animal Hospital. I can't believe it has been almost 19 years since I first opened SRVH!! I have so many memories that I will cherish from here - most important and near to my heart is the fact that my father built SRVH for me... I so wish he were here to have helped with the construction of Cricket Ridge Animal Hospital, but I know he is with me in spirit❤️. While here at SRVH, there have been numerous stray cats and dogs that we have helped find forever homes that I can't even count!! Some of those strays ended up as one of our various clinic cats (and dog) - most famously, Cock-eyed Clyde, Fudge, W***y, Piggy, McDuff, Harley, Martha JP (for Jurassic Park because she was way beyond a senior cat when we took her in!), Derby, Cate, Bobbi, Smoochie, Coochie, Tucker, Sophie, Cutie, Tommy, Pumpkin, and Thackery Binx The Black, and our honorary clinic dog, Capone. I sure hope I remembered them all!! So this is the weekend we pack up and head just 10 minutes east to the brand new hospital to start more adventures and make more memories!! Thank you to the wonderful co-workers, Laramie, Nikki, Morgan, Jessica, Kristin, and Karen, for all your hard work and dedication in making this move possible. Thank you to my incredibly supportive husband, Dan, for not only supporting this dream, but also believing in me. And a big THANK YOU to all my loyal clients - please follow us as we start another chapter....

These adorable little sisters came in to meet us this evening!!! Meet Miss Ellie and Miss Macy!!!! Ellie was so excited she even danced for us to play with a toy!!

Bonnie's Mom and Dad noticed a growth on her and brought her in for us to to exam. Dr. Lori decided to aspirate the growth, and our patient was very cooperative. We will send the aspirations our for the lab to be examined.

Thackery Binx the amazing survival cat!!! Aka TBsquared was hit by a car before coming to us a month ago!!! He has a broken pelvis, and look what he is able to do!! It's amazing what animals can overcome!!

Amanda came in today for a visit with Dr. Bieber. This pretty little lady was just recently rescued by her Dad and is enjoying her new home!!!

What better way to brighten up a gloomy morning than with this little girl!!! Mila, an 11 week old Morkie, came in for her first puppy visit weighing only 2.34lbs!!!

Happy Halloween!!!! Some of our furry friends came in to show off their costumes!! I would say they are ready for Trick-or-Treat fun!!! Everyone have a fun and safe night!!!!
