We are a full service Hunter/Jumper barn conveniently located at the intersection of the 91 and 605 freeways in Cerritos, CA. We specialize in creating winning teams of horse and rider, starting with a child’s first lesson on one of our safe lesson horses all the way to capturing blue ribbons at both county level and A/AA level competitions! Our knowledgable staff works diligently to prepare your

horse to preform at their absolute best, with top level feed, grooming care and consistent training. Please private message or email us for current training rates! Our lesson program is designed for the rider just beginning their journey! We have five wonderful school horses, ranging from ponies to learn the absolute basics, to horses well schooled in jumping courses. Lessons in our School Program are either 30 minute private or 45 minute-1 hour long group lessons. At First Field, we stress the importance of learning horsemanship, so we instruct our riders on how to properly care for their horses both prior to and after their mounted lesson. We are now offering Summer Camp! Ages 6-13, Monday through Friday 9:30pm-3:30pm! Please private message us for more details! Stop by the barn and meet our team!

First Field Farm had two great horse show weekends recently!

TVN Fall 2:
Moonface, owned by First Field Farm and ridden by Jamie Sailor, had great rounds in the 1.35m and 1.40m this week, taking home a 2nd on Thursday in the 1.35m!
Bridgestone Dezhou, owned and ridden by Juliette Joffroy, had beautiful rounds all weekend, taking home 6th in the CPHA Child Adult Medal Final!
Stylish, owned by Nancy Mynott and ridden by Jamie Sailor, took home reserve champion in the 2’9” USHJA hunters, winning the under saddle.
Stylish and Juliette Joffroy took home reserve champion in the 2’9” modified equitation division.

Gold Coast October:
Latigo 23, owned and ridden by Eleanor Lenz, finished 5th in the LAHJA Bronze Medal Final last week. This pair also took home reserve champion in the LAIEL JV hunters!

First Field Farm had a very successful horse show this weekend at LA Summer Classic!

Bridgestone Dezhou, owned and ridden by Juliette Joffroy took Champion in the Children’s Hunter division 🥇

Stylish (owned by Nancy Mynott) ridden by Juliette Joffroy took Champion in the 2’9” Child/Adult Hunter division. This team also won the 2’6” Hunter Derby. 🥇
Stylish also won champion of the 2’9” USHJA Hunter earlier in the week!🥇

Latigo 23, owned and ridden by Eleanor Lenz, took reserve champion in both the Children’s Hunter division and the 2’9” Child/ Adult Hunter division. This team took home multiple 1sts in both divisions! 🥇

Moonface (owned by First Field Farm) ridden by Jamie Sailor made his Grand Prix debut, putting down a very solid round with just two rails down. Thank you Jamie for the great rides!

Rojo (owned by head groom Arturo) made sure all the ribbons were organized and barn was well kept all weekend!

Icebreaker RW (Brown horse)

“Icy” is a 2013 gelding that is a proven winner in the 1.00m that loves to show riders the ropes in jumpers. Competed in Holland up to the 1.30m, and has taken his most recent rider from .70 - 1.0m. Icy is extremely safe, adjustable, patient, brave, and careful. He is perfect for a junior or amateur looking to learn the jumper ring and be competitive! He is also perfectly happy jumping into the hunter and equitation rings. Super fun to flat, and a barn favorite. For L or S

Zander (Grey horse)
USEF # 5632268 is a 2013 Dutch Warmblood gelding that is a perfect 3 ring horse. Zander has done it all, and is happy to jump into any ring. He loves to show. Zander is brave, kind, simple, and ready for his next junior or amateur partner! He has done the 3’6 AO hunters, 1.0m jumpers, and the 3’3” medals, placing 6th in the USHJA Jumping Seat Medal Final in 2022. Most recently, he competed at the Oaks June 2025 in all three rings. First Field Farm loved being back at The Oaks!

Stylish (Owned by Nancy Mynott) ridden by Juliette Joffroy took 🥇 in the 2’6” Child/ Adult Hunter Derby, taking all the high options! They also put down beautiful rounds in the 2’9 modified children’s hunters with a 🥈over fences, and a🥉 under saddle. This great mare is for sale!

Moonface (owned by First Field Farm) ridden by Jamie Sailor took 🥉 in the 1.25m classic! They also finished 🥈 in the 1.30m earlier in the week.

Zander, owned and ridden by Elizabeth Mairena, put down solid rounds in all three rings this week! Zander is the example of a great 3 ring horse, and he is for sale!

Bridgestone Dezhou, owned and ridden by Juliette Joffroy had great rounds in the 3ft children’s hunters and 14 and under equitation.

Zander USEF # 5632268 is a 2013 Dutch Warmblood gelding that is a perfect 3 ring horse. Zander has done it all, and is happy to jump into any ring. He loves to show. Zander is brave, kind, simple, and ready for his next junior or amateur partner! He has done the A/O 3’6” Hunters, 3’3” USHJA Jumping Seat Medal Final, and loves to play around in the jumpers. Showing in the 3ft hunters this week. P, Mid - High 5s (grey horse video)

Stylish (Waffles) USEF #5564673 is a 2018 mare by Casall that is ready for her next rider to take her in the show ring. Waffles is a great mover, simple, has her own motor, and easy enough for a junior or amateur to finish. She is the example of safe and simple, she has been shown by a 60 year old and a 13 year old! Waffles won Champion in the 2’9” USHJA hunters at DIHP DC 5 with a 88 in a o/f round, and won the under saddle. She also took reserve champion in the 2’6” children's hunters with a 13 year old at the Oaks Capistrano Cup 2. Will be showing in the 2’9” modified child hunters this week. Autumn Colours ridden by Brook Drake (owned by First Field Farm) won champion in the 2ft Jr/Am equitation with two 🥇’st and a 🥈!

Suede ridden by Briseis Garrido (owned by Lorena Christie) won reserve champion in the 2ft Jr/Am equitation with one 🥇in the over fences!

The Oaks Capistrano Cup 2!
Latigo 23, owned and ridden by Eleanor Lenz, took reserve champion in the Modified Children’s Hunter, with a 1st in the under saddle, and great rounds over fences. This team also finished 5th in the 2’6” Hunter Derby!
Stylish, owned by Nancy Mynott and ridden by Juliette Joffroy, took reserve champion in the Low Children’s Hunter 2’6”, with firsts in the under saddle and an over fences round! Stylish is proudly offered for sale, pm for more details!
Moonface, owned by First Field Farm and ridden by Jamie Sailor, stepped up to the 1.30m this week, jumping clear in 1.30 speed. Thank you Jamie for your great rides this week!
Crack One, owned by Ixchel Mosley and ridden by Grace Clark, had beautiful rounds this week in the 2’6” Low Adult Hunters, and placed 5th in the CPHA horsemanship Medal.
Bridgestone Dezhou, owned and ridden by Juliette Joffroy, had great rounds in Children’s hunters 14 and under, earning a ribbon in every round. Juliette also placed third in the CPHA child/adult Medal.

Stylish: 2018, 16.1hh mare ready for a junior or amateur. Won Champion at DIHP in the USHJA 2’9” hunters with a professional, and also won champion in the Hunter Hack division with a 60 year old. Took 2nd in the USHJA 2’9” under saddle this week. Hack winner, super safe, and simple.

Update: Stylish took 1st in the children’s 2’6” hunters o/f and under saddle today.

First Field Farm had another great day at KA Productions horse show on Sunday! 🥇🥈🥉
Waylon owned and ridden by Brynn Miller took home champion in the 2’6” Division, winning both the under saddle and eq flat classes.
Oakie Dokie Smokey (owned by First Field Farm) ridden by Daniella Hynes had a great first horse show, earned reserve champion in the walk trot division.
Push Play (owned by Maryann Engel) ridden by Emma Harlow won reserve champion in the crossrail division.
Suede (owned by Lorena Christie) ridden by Briseis Garrido had a great horse show, earning two seconds and a third in the crossrail division.
Popular J owned and ridden by Crystal Davis rode very well earning ribbons in every class in the crossrail division.
Whiskey Business owned and ridden by Lorena Christie won both 2’9” Hunter rounds .
Luciano owned and ridden by Raquel Wright had a great first horse show, earning ribbons in all of their classes in the crossrail division.
