June is a paint, and our one-eyed wonder! She is a sweet girl who will do most anything you ask of her. June is perfect for our beginner to intermediate riders who need something sturdy below them. We don’t call her the tank for nothin’. While June’s history was in Western riding, she is great in English and has come to love jumping. Maybe a great match for our “Wenglish” riders? Come ride June and see for yourself. (Hot tip: she LOVES an apple.)

Waylon is our thoroughbred/warmblood cross with a heart of gold. He is great for beginner to advanced riders, but his trot will make you wish you didn’t skip leg day. While he can do both English and Western, he especially shines when he’s with a rider who gives clear direction. As a Libra, he is a social butterfly and especially enjoys the attention of a photoshoot. You may have seen him in a magazine or two. He’s the kind of horse that wants to be your friend as much as your ride, and that’s exactly the fun of it.

As we spend more time with horses, they often quietly teach us all of these lessons simply because horses require them in order to navigate our relationship with them safely.

Trust and patience develop slow and steady as with our human counterparts. Ego and pride must drop away in order to move forward, learn, and excel. And communication becomes more than just words as you find how in tune with your body a horse becomes.

It’s more than just riding. It’s developing a relationship and an education that you can carry into other parts of your life.
