Diesel is currently in a foster home with two big (and bigger) brothers. He puts up a good fight and loves other dogs. He is young enough where he would do great being introduced to a cat!
diesel is almost housebroken and would benefit from a family who can provide consistent opportunities. he loves going for walks and snuggling after a good time of playing tug of war and fetch. while he’s still scared of the cold, he’s ready to find his forever home

Oakley Ann has never met a stranger, has never encountered a food puzzle she couldn’t solve, and has absolutely no understanding of personal space.

And we wouldn’t have her any other way. ❤️

This girl is as sweet as pie and has one simple philosophy in life: Wherever you’re going, she’s coming too.

Going to the kitchen? She’s coming. Sitting on the couch? She’s in your lap. Lying in bed? Don’t be surprised if you wake up with a puppy draped across your neck or sleeping on your head. Oakley doesn’t just want to be near her people. She wants to be touching them. Preferably always.

She’s incredibly smart, walks beautifully on a leash, is doing fantastic with potty training, and is surprisingly quiet for a puppy. She loves her toy squirrel, puppy bones, chasing balls, and playing with anyone willing to join in. She’s still learning her manners, and being told “no” isn’t her favorite thing, but she’s catching on quickly!

She’s also convinced that anything remotely resembling food deserves a taste test. 😂

One of our favorite things about Oakley is how easily she fits into everyday life. She’s been tagging along with our four kids to football games and family outings, taking all the noise and chaos in stride. More often than not, she just curls up and falls asleep.

And when that little right ear flops sideways across her head? Good luck not falling in love. 🥹

Oakley Ann doesn’t need a particular kind of adventure. She just wants someone to share it with.

A busy family with kids? She’s ready.

Someone looking for a loyal adventure buddy? Sign her up.

A five-mile hike? Absolutely.

A five-hour nap? Even better.

As long as she’s with her people, she’s exactly where she wants to be.

She’s still a puppy who will need patience, consistency, and continued training, but she’s already showing us what an incredible dog she’s going to become.

URGENT URGENT URGENT
We have less than a week to find placement for this sweet girl. She NEEDS our help!! We received 0 apps for this girl!!

Bluebell needs a foster ASAP! She was abandoned at a rental property and the landlord needs her moved soon so they can continue working on the house, she needs a foster so we can finish getting her fully vetted and off to finding her new home! She does have hair loss on her back, the vet is certain it is Alopecia (Which is not contagious ☺️)

Bluebell would do best WITHOUT Female dogs at this time, she was territorial at the dog test. Probably due to her not being spayed but we do not want to risk issues in the foster home, so male dogs only.

We are unsure how she is with cats and kids.

She was abused before she was abandoned so she is very skittish and does bark, but once she warms up to you she is SOOO sweet!!!

Please help with her!!

Requirements for Fostering:
-All animals in the home need to be UTD on age appropriate vaccines and Spayed/Neutered
-We prefer home owners but we do accept renters on a case by case basis (houses and long term renters)
-You need to be within traveling distance of Iowa City, Cedar Rapids or Cedar Falls/Waterloo for Vetting and Events. (1 Hour to 1 1/2 Hours)

Tula Pupdate 🐾
Sweet Tula has found her voice!!! She is making SO much progress and we are so proud of her!!! Just look at her go 🥰🥰

She is coming up on 3 weeks old and has opened both of her eyes 🐾

If you’re not familiar with Tulas story, she’s an owner surrender that was born with a cleft lip and fluid around her brain, she was not able to feed properly and is currently tube fed. She will be closely monitored over the next few weeks while we watch her progress 🥰🐾

Maximus Update!
This sweet handsome guy is settling in SO well!! He’s recovering from an ear infection and then we would LOVE to get him neutered soon after and get him ready for his forever home. To do that, we need to raise some funds for him. We are looking for a sponsor to cover his neuter fee ($300) 🐾

Here’s what his foster had to say!
“Maximus is doing SO WELL!!! He’s such a gentle boy who loves to cuddle, give kisses, and get scratches. He finally ate for the first time last night and is showing signs of being relaxed like sleeping in his back and sticking his little tongue out! He adores Ophelia and they’ve even cuddled together for a couple of naps. He sleeps through the night, seems housebroken, and is picking up quickly on us redirecting his behavior. He’s not available for adoption until after he gets fixed, but he would make a fantastic family dog! ❤️❤️❤️”

(Please be sure to respect your dogs boundaries, if the costume makes them uncomfortable or scared, choose something that makes them less fearful so they can enjoy the holiday as well 🥰🐾)

While we love seeing the costumes, we also want to make sure our furry companions are happy ❤️
