✨This week in Training we are providing some training tips from our trainer Emily! ✨
Management is what we call the initial and essential processes in humanely bettering your dog's behavior. Management is not the "end all be all" but allows for some problems to be solved entirely with no training!

Scavenging for food scraps is a prominent problem that is usually solved from a little cause and effect evaluation. Most of these solutions stem from keeping food out of reach, like putting a lid on a garbage can/ lock for the clever ones. 🤓

For some pets the countertop is simple for them to reach. Making simple lifestyle adjustments, like putting away leftovers and throwing out table scraps, is something owners can easily start doing before tackling bigger problems that require in house training.

Window film (or other forms of blocking what's going on outside) won’t cure your dog’s window reactivity. It makes living at home more peaceful for everyone and stops the behavior from getting worse while we work on training.

Finding a management strategy that works for you and your dog can be challenging. Our trainer can help! Give us a call today and we'll get you squared away! 🐾

It's ! 🐩 Today's transformation is Bandit who got the Ultimate Pampering Groom. Bath, nail trim, Perfect 5 ( paw pad cream, nail trim, nail filing, teeth brushing and a**l gland expression) and a haircut of choice make for quite the Ultimate groom indeed. A complementary bandana is included to make the look really feel fresh.

Did you know that Aloha Academy offers in-home private lessons? We understand that every dog is different and training cannot be done with a one-size-fits-all approach, which is why when you enroll in private lessons with us, you’ll receive an individualized training plan tailored to your specific goals! You will also be given instructional handouts for skills learned during your lessons, as well as written and video resources to continue learning even after the completion of your service. In addition to all of that, you’ll have access to support from our trainer via phone and email (during business hours) while in between lessons!
