Adventures!!

Well , our barn hunt did not happen the way we thought it would yesterday. (Sorry, G, my bad) but we definitely had an adventure anyway.

Gunther loved exploring the fairgrounds, and we stopped by the lime kilns and let him wander and sniff. Gunther had a full day, and couldn't keep his eyes open on the way home.

Play Time!
I got roughly 0 good pictures tonight, but the dogs had a good time. ❤️

Training and socializing as a group is so good for these little monsters. We try to stretch their brains and bodies as much as we can. Tonight was Bug's first play date with the big kids. She was so brave! 🧡

Happy National Donut Day!

My boss got us donuts, and I dressed up the dog. 🍩😄🐩

Gunther is modeling a donut themed inflatable e-collar.
(He has not been injured in any way. He is just modeling it because it is donut themed.)

And yes, he did knock over all of those beds in the last picture. They fell down like dominoes.

Barn Hunt!
First barn hunt of the summer for Gunther and I.

I didn't get many pictures, but Gunther had an amazing time!

He was so happy to be there. Even one of the judges remarked on how much fun he seems like he has in the ring.

He disqualified himself both trials by once again, refusing to go through the tunnel. 😑

Oh, well. He had a blast, and we will practice more before our next trial.

Sniff walks, according to Gunther, the most important part of his day. 😄

Almost every day after work, we spend 5-10 minutes sniffing around. It's a great way for him to decompress from his day, and it gives his brain a chance to focus on something fun.

Do you have something in your daily routine to add some fun? It's important for dogs AND their humans. ❤️

The word "tunnel" is already in his brain. But he got excited and forgot that it does NOT mean jumping onto the blanket.

He got it again after a few tries. 😄

After a long training session and a visit with a friend, we are home, and he has crashed. At least I know he'll sleep through the night. 😄

Pride month is very important to me, here's some LGBTQ history:

In June of 1969, a group of LGBTQ people in New York City rioted because of a police raid of the Stonewall Inn (a gay bar in Greenwich Village).
This is one of the most significant events leading to the modern gay rights movement.
The following year in June, organized demonstrations took place in New York City, Los Angeles, and San Francisco to mark the one-year anniversary of the Stonewall Riots.
As the years went on, additional cities in North America and Europe began to hold their own public demonstrations or pride day, eventually leading to what we know today as a gay pride parade. 🏳️‍🌈
