Hazel has helped to foster many dogs, but she basically raised Gunther. 😄
He came to us at ten months old with few words and little experience, and Hazel had to put a lot of work into him.
He loves her so much 💕

Apparently it's love your dog groomer day!
Not to be confused with November 1st, which is dog groomer appreciation day. I had no idea there was a second day for groomers.

I love it. Groomers are such an important part of a care team for our dogs! Gunther loves his Liz 🧡💙

His groomer has done so much to teach me about his hair and caring for it, and has done so much to help with his confidence in the grooming salon.

Groomers, I hope you had an amazing day, with no a**l gland spray and all of the friendly dogs!

Adventures!!

Well , our barn hunt did not happen the way we thought it would yesterday. (Sorry, G, my bad) but we definitely had an adventure anyway.

Gunther loved exploring the fairgrounds, and we stopped by the lime kilns and let him wander and sniff. Gunther had a full day, and couldn't keep his eyes open on the way home.

I got roughly 0 good pictures tonight, but the dogs had a good time. ❤️

Training and socializing as a group is so good for these little monsters. We try to stretch their brains and bodies as much as we can. Tonight was Bug's first play date with the big kids. She was so brave! 🧡

My boss got us donuts, and I dressed up the dog. 🍩😄🐩

Gunther is modeling a donut themed inflatable e-collar.
(He has not been injured in any way. He is just modeling it because it is donut themed.)

And yes, he did knock over all of those beds in the last picture. They fell down like dominoes.

Barn Hunt!
First barn hunt of the summer for Gunther and I.

I didn't get many pictures, but Gunther had an amazing time!

He was so happy to be there. Even one of the judges remarked on how much fun he seems like he has in the ring.

He disqualified himself both trials by once again, refusing to go through the tunnel. 😑

Oh, well. He had a blast, and we will practice more before our next trial.
