🚴‍♂️ RAGBRAI is Rolling Through Town! 🚴‍♀️
Heads up, friends! RAGBRAI will be making its way through our town, and that means roads will be closed and downtown traffic will be extra busy and congested tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday. If you have an upcoming appointment with us or need to pick up food or medications, please allow extra time to get here or consider an alternate route to avoid delays. You can reach us best by coming down State Street, and you may have to ask attendants to let you thru the barricades.

We will be open as usual and looking forward to seeing you—just plan ahead and travel safely! 🐾💙

This month is a great reminder to take simple steps to keep your furry family members safe and sound:
✔️ Make sure collars fit properly and have up-to-date ID tags
✔️ Keep microchip information current
✔️ Secure fences and gates
✔️ Use leashes, even for quick outings
✔️ Consider GPS collars or tracking devices for adventurers

• Review and print vaccine certificates for boarding, grooming, or daycare
• Review your pet’s healthcare reminders
• Request appointments
• Request prescription refills
• View previous services
• and more!
To use the pet portal:
• Visit the pet portal at: https://petportal.vet/taylor-veterinary-hospital
• Once you’re on the pet portal main page, click “LOGIN TO PETPORTAL.”
• Enter your email address on file with us, your phone number, and your name.
• You will receive a verification email with a code. Enter this code on the pet portal website. If you do not receive a verification email, we likely have a different email address on file for you. Give us a call 📞 at 319-277-1883 to get this corrected. It’s that simple – no username or password to remember.

We hope everyone has a safe and fun holiday weekend! 🎆
Please note our adjusted hours for the Fourth of July:

Friday, July 4th – CLOSED
Saturday, July 5th – CLOSED

If your pet experiences an emergency during this time, call our regular number at 319-277-1883 for our emergency answering service and they will connect you with the doctor on call. We’ll be back to our regular hours on Monday, July 7th at 8:30 AM!

We’re excited to share that our office will be upgrading to a new practice management software system to better serve you and your pets!!! This change will bring several improvements, including a new pet portal where you can easily:

• View your pet’s medical records & invoice history
• Print vaccine certificates for boarding, grooming, or daycare
• View upcoming reminders
• Request appointments
• Refill prescriptions
• Upload adorable photos of your pet!!!

Please note:
Our current pet portal (ePet Health) will no longer be updated after June 19th. However, rest assured that all your pet’s medical records remain safely on file and will be fully available through our new system.

We’ll be sending out instructions soon on how to access the new portal. We appreciate your patience during this transition and are confident this upgrade will enhance your experience with
us. If you have any questions in the meantime, feel free to contact our team at 319-277-1883.
