That moment when we’re expecting our brand-new ultrasound machine and get a surprise delivery instead… A vet tech delivery?!

Apparently Kelsey is the newest (and most unexpected) piece of equipment in the building. 😂

10/10, would recommend.

Fleas are having a moment — and unfortunately, it’s not a good one!

We’re seeing a LOT of flea activity right now, and as we head into fall, it’s especially important to keep your pets protected. Cooler weather doesn’t necessarily mean flea season is over—fleas can thrive in warm, protected environments and quickly become a problem inside your home.

Even indoor pets can pick up fleas, and once they get inside, they can be surprisingly difficult to eliminate!

Why stay consistent with flea prevention?
• Helps prevent itchy flea bites and skin irritation
• Reduces the risk of flea allergy dermatitis and tapeworms
• Helps prevent a flea infestation from taking hold in your home
• Keeps your pets comfortable and protected

We offer effective monthly chewable and topical flea & tick prevention options for dogs and cats. Whether your pet prefers a chewable or needs a topical option, we can help you find the best fit!

If you’re noticing scratching, chewing, redness, scabs, or tiny black specks (“flea dirt”), give us a call. Don’t wait until you have a house full of fleas—consistent prevention is much easier than treating an infestation!

Heartworm prevention is an important part of keeping your dog healthy, but when should they be tested? Whether your dog is on year-round prevention, you’ve welcomed home a new puppy or rescue, missed a dose, or your dog has been treated for heartworms, the timing of testing matters.

Take a look at this helpful guide from the American Heartworm Society, and give us a call if you have any questions!

Did You Know? Pets are masters at hiding pain. Many dogs and cats instinctively hide signs of discomfort, which means pain isn't always obvious.

Some subtle signs to watch for:
- Sleeping more than usual
- Reluctance to jump, climb stairs, or play
- Changes in appetite
- Irritability or changes in behavior
- Changes in grooming
- Hiding more than normal (especially cats)

If your pet seems "a little off," it's worth paying attention. Early detection and talking to your pet's veterinarian can make a big difference in your pet's comfort and health.
