Cane Rosso Rescue 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds and building awareness for homeless dogs

The goal of Cane Rosso Rescue is to find homes for dogs who have been abandoned at shelters or whose owners who can no longer care for them. We are looking for fosters, adopters and volunteers who can help transport dogs to their homes. Donations are needed to pay for medical care and other expenses and can be made via PayPal at [email protected].

Available for adoption: meet Judge!

🙏 Judge is coming to Cane Rosso rescue from a home where his owner can no longer care for him and asked for help. We are trying to help him find a new home in the world, he’s a great dog and we hate to see him end up in a shelter.

Judge is a smart, energetic, and affectionate young Aussie who’s ready to find his perfect match! He’s the kind of dog who can go hard during playtime—fetch, running, adventures—and then happily turn into a couch potato curled up with his favorite human. Best of both worlds. 🐶💙

Judge would thrive in a variety of homes, such as with an active individual or couple who can keep his body and brain engaged.

❤️‍🩹Christmas did not go as planned for our sweet GSP mix Remi. This poor girl has already been through so much, and now she’s recovering from emergency, life-saving surgery.

Remi’s foster mom imagined Remi’s first Christmas filled with love and quiet snuggles on the couch by the Christmas tree — not a rushed trip to the emergency vet and surgery for this sweet girl.

Out of nowhere, Remi spiked a 105° fever, became lethargic, and began vomiting. She was rushed to the emergency vet and diagnosed with pyometra, a life-threatening infection, and needed an immediate emergency spay.

It was terrifying, but we are incredibly grateful to share that surgery went well and she is awake. She will remain hospitalized another day or two for close monitoring.

🥹This is the reality of rescue — loving them, fighting for them, and doing whatever it takes when things go wrong.

🙏As you can imagine, this is also an incredibly expensive emergency. If you’re able to make a donation to this life saving surgery for Remi, we would appreciate the help so much. We will always do what’s best for the health of our rescue dogs and we cannot do it alone.

Our sweet mama dog Sophie is spending her first Christmas in her new adoptive home, feeling loved and cherished… and spoiled beyond measure, as she should be.

💔 These adorable Aussie mix puppies are about to be given away for FREE on Facebook as “Christmas puppies.”

No vetting.

No vaccines.

No spay/neuter plan.

No future care.

And that? That’s how this cycle never ends.

As a rescue, this is our absolute nightmare. Puppies deserve more than being handed off like stocking stuffers with zero plan for their future. This is how dogs end up sick, abandoned, in shelters or back on the internet needing “rehoming” a few months from now.

We can stop this — if we can find foster homes ASAP!

Fosters allow us to step in, provide proper medical care, vaccines, spay/neuter, and make sure these puppies are placed responsibly and safely.

🙏 Hunter needs a home for the holidays! Can anyone foster or adopt this gorgeous gem of a dog?!??

Found as a stray, hungry and tired, this absolute sweetheart has been through it. He is now safe and secure with us and is ready to find a home to call his own.

While living with a temporary foster, Hunter thrived. He immediately became part of the family, loved having giant dog beds to lay in and cuddling on the couch. He is true love and would make a great addition to any family.

He has seen our vet and is fully cleared to go to a foster or adopter and was just neutered. Please apply using the link below to add Hunter into your home!

Labrador puppy available for adoption!

We have the sweetest little girl looking for a forever home!!

She’s cute, she’s cuddly and she is absolute perfection. She is doing just wonderful in her foster home with potty training, crate training and all things puppy that she’s learning.

She loves other dogs, is great with kids and is a perfect addition to any family. We really couldn’t pick a better puppy if we tried!

Black Labrador puppy available for adoption!

Meet Spruce — the sweetest little 8-week-old black Lab.

Born in a warehouse, he was saved by a Good Samaritan and has become a Cane Rosso rescue dog. He is now ready to find a family to call his own, just in time for the holidays.

Spruce is that perfect mix of playful puppy energy and soft, snuggly sweetness. He loves exploring, flopping into your lap like he’s known you forever, and wagging his whole body when he gets excited, which is… basically all the time…. He’s a puppy!

Looking for a home: Lucy!

Think about it — do you instantly love everyone you meet? Probably not. Some connections take time, trust, and a little patience to grow. That’s Lucy. She takes a little more time than other dogs and she is so worth it.

She’s the kind of dog who blooms slowly, but beautifully. Once she lets you in, you’ll see the goofy, affectionate, loyal side that makes her so special. She just needs someone willing to give her the time and chance to show it. ❤️
