🐾🧡 October 27 — Día de los Mu***os for Pets 🧡🐾

Today, we honor the beautiful souls who left paw prints on our hearts and memories that will last a lifetime. 🌈

The ones who greeted us at the door, curled up beside us when we needed comfort, made us laugh when we wanted to cry, and loved us in a way only an animal can.

They were never just pets. They were family. They were our best friends, our shadows, our comfort, and sometimes the only ones who truly understood us without a single word.

And although their time with us was never long enough, the love they gave us will stay with us forever.

Today is a reminder that love doesn’t end when a heartbeat does. It lives on in every memory, every photograph, every familiar sound we swear we still hear, and every little piece of our hearts they took with them. 🕊️

So today, light a candle, share a favorite memory, or simply take a moment to remember the animals who made your world a little brighter.

If love could have kept them here, they would have lived forever. ❤️

This week, we’re taking a moment to recognize and celebrate the incredible veterinary technicians who make up the heart of Roaring Brook Veterinary Hospital! ❤️

Behind every wagging tail, every comforting purr, every successful procedure, and every patient who needs a little extra love, there’s a dedicated veterinary technician working tirelessly behind the scenes.

Our technicians wear countless hats throughout the day. They’re nurses, anesthetists, dental technicians, lab technicians, patient advocates, professional animal snugglers, and sometimes even the emotional support humans for the pets, clients, and coworkers around them. 🐶🐱

They juggle busy schedules, unexpected emergencies, challenging cases, and emotional moments, all while providing the compassion and quality care that our patients deserve.

Being a veterinary technician is so much more than cuddling puppies and kittens. It takes an incredible amount of knowledge, skill, patience, resilience, and, above all, heart.

There are days filled with happy endings and others that weigh a little heavier. Days when lunches are missed, uniforms are covered in fur (and things we’d rather not mention 😅), and the coffee has gone cold for the third time. Yet through it all, our team continues to show up for their patients, their clients, and one another.

To our amazing technicians:

We see your hard work, your dedication, your compassion, and the countless little things you do that often go unnoticed. We see the extra time you spend comforting a nervous patient, the gentle hands that make a scary experience a little less frightening, and the love you pour into animals who cannot thank you with words.

Your knowledge is invaluable. Your compassion is extraordinary. And your dedication is what helps make our hospital such a special place.
