Frankie is an unbelievably special pug who came to us with terrible breathing difficulties due to brachycephalic airway syndrome. Frankie’s BAS had progressed to laryngeal collapse, which made it increasingly difficult for her to breathe. Unfortunately, surgery in the back of her throat wasn’t going to be enough to help her breathe better. To help her, Dr. Leshem gave her a permanent tracheostomy, which created a permanent opening in her trachea, allowing her to breathe directly through the neck. As you can see, Frankie has never felt better! She absolutely loves being by able to breathe so well and is a playful puppy again!!

Milly is a veterinarian from Colombia from has been visiting with us the last few months gaining experience in an urgent care and in surgery. We’re thrilled to have her!

Little Reiley came to us with a broken front leg. Dr. Acquaviva was able to put her back together with a plate and screws and she’s on the mend!
