Shortest Day

So the Shortest Day came and the year died
And everywhere down the centuries of the snow‐white world
Came people singing, dancing,
To drive the dark away.

They lighted candles in the winter trees;
They hung their homes with evergreen;
They burned beseeching fires all night long
To keep the year alive.

And when the new year's sunshine blazed awake
They shouted, reveling.
Through all the frosty ages you can hear them
Echoing behind us ‐ listen!

All the long echoes, sing the same delight,
This Shortest Day,
As promise wakens in the sleeping land:
They carol, feast, give thanks,
And dearly love their friends,
And hope for peace.

And so do we, here, now,
This year and every year.

NATRC Region 4 final awards have been posted and Natty earned 5th in the Competitive Pleasure - Horse division. He was primarily ridden by Ivy, but Doanna Daniel and myself also took him to one ride each. He and Ivy Starnes also took 6th in CP team combined award. Go team! 🎉 Thank you for helping me make his NATRC debut year a success.

I'm really pleased with how well Natty did this season. He really grew and matured throughout and got better with each ride as he began to understand the NATRC game. He is going to be a stellar CTR horse as he continues to grow and learn.

Awards announced by the RMHA's Trail and Versatility programs!

For Trail Natty earned top 5 participating stallions as a 4 year old. Good boy!

He also earned Bronze versatility with Ivy Starnes and Silver versatility with Chrissy L Knight !

Way to go Natty!

Pleased to announce that the beautiful 'Sabrina' RFR Spellbound I Am is officially under contract!
