Bailey minding her P’s and Q’s while waiting for puppy ultrasound at the vet. All the other waiting dogs were wild little heathens…but Bailey was her usual best girl self and got lots of compliments on her manners! 🐾🩷

I fed the dogs rabbit quarters this afternoon. I thought I was giving them a delicacy.

Ace: ‘delicacy indeed, this is delicious! I’ll take seconds please.’ Proceeds to wolf down his food like it’s the best thing he’s ever eaten.

Charlie: ‘you uncultured swine. I cannot believe you are eating that! But also…mom gave it to me so it must be special, no one else better touch it or I’ll throw hands.’ *growls softly, while still disgusted at the RAW FOOD mom tried to feed him. *

Everyone else: where is the prison food, mom? You know the uniform brown nuggets…?

The cat: ‘y’all don’t know how to live! I would be happy to finish whatever y’all don’t want to eat, you can have my prison food nuggets in trade.’

We had a great time at the ASDR North Texas Sunflower Classic and ASDR Magnolia Classic today. Charlie and Bailey both showed well against a group of very nice dogs.

Bailey took second place in both of her Champion Female classes.

Charlie took first place in 18-36 month bred by males for both shows, then went on in the North Texas Sunflower Classic to win Best Male, Best of Breed, and Reserve Best in Show under judge Ronnie Junkins. I’m super proud of my home grown boy! 💙

Having put on my very first show this year, I have a new appreciation for how much work is involved. Big thanks to Brandy Day, Shantele Marlboro Cannon, and all of their helpers for hosting a beautiful show!

When I said I wanted to breed my little stick o dynamite, Bailey, later this year…I meant later, LATER. Like fall. But Miss Bailey must’ve heard me - laughed - and said heat cycle activated!

Anyhow, we put pup cakes in the oven to bake with this handsome dude, Bourbon, at A2A Aussies and will have little fire crackers in about 60 days.

And last but not least! My home grown boy KO Two Buck Chuck “Charlie” earned his Elite Champion Gold title, Rally 1 title and earned Best Male, and Reserve Best of Breed at the Rose Gala show. Charlie was also shown by Carson in his conformation classes, and will continue to work on his conformation titles throughout the year.

Next up in bragging rights, my big red dog Legend the lover boy also completed his conformation title series at the Lone Star Classic, earning his Supreme Grand Champion Platinum, and also taking Best Male and Reserve Best of Breed - all while showing in the midst of a very loud and scary thunderstorm (as you can see by his very big eyes in the head on pic 🤣).

Legend is panel clear, m/m (non merle), OFA hips excellent, elbows and patella’s normal. He is available to stud for outside females, live cover only at this time, I’m working with my vet to get set up for AI so if you’re interested please reach out.
