We have two cats looking for barn placement. They are not feral, but they have lived outside their whole life so would do better as outside cats. They are fixed this way and up-to-date on their vaccines. There is no adoption fee, but you do need to be able to provide adequate food, shelter, and water. It is also highly recommended that you confine the cat to a space that they recognize as their new home at least for a couple of weeks. Otherwise they are likely to just run off. We are very full and need to get these cats moved ASAP

❤️‍🩹 Let’s introduce MYRTLE! Myrtle had to have a special enhanced photo because we haven’t been able to capture her sweet face too often. Why? Well, she’s shut down completely and hangs her head with sadness. We have seen signs of kennel stress, but Myrtle has depression and NEEDS a loving person to bring back her SPARK! Myrtle WILL be at our library adoption event tomorrow, and we pray she finds a home all her own!

❤️‍🩹 Myrtle came to us as a stray with her 4 babies. She has been spayed and is ready for a life of love. We know that the shelter is only a stepping stone for her future, but she doesn’t know that. All she knows right now is kennel life, and it’s not working for her. So we ask, give this adult 2 year old girl a chance. She’s calm, quiet, sweet and will be the best companion. Let’s get our girl home and get the light back in her eyes!

💗🐾 GRACE’S STORY HAS THE HAPPIEST ENDING. 🐾💗

We are beyond happy to announce that sweet Grace has officially been ADOPTED by her foster family! 🥹🏡❤️

Grace’s journey is one we will never forget.

She went from running free through the fields, to being live-trapped and brought into the shelter, an environment that was incredibly stressful and frightening for her. She didn’t understand why her whole world had suddenly changed.

Then, in March, Grace found something she desperately needed: a chance. Her foster home opened their hearts and their home to a scared girl who needed time, patience, and someone willing to believe in her.

And they did. ❤️

They didn’t give up when things were difficult. They gave her space when she needed it, comfort when she was afraid, and most importantly, they gave her time to learn that people could be trusted and that she was finally safe.

And today, we get to say the words we always hoped we would…

Grace is HOME. Forever. 🥹💗

Thank you, Makenna and Wendy, for seeing the girl underneath the fear. For choosing commitment over convenience. For showing Grace what patience and unconditional love look like. And for giving her a life surrounded by her two siblings, Duke and Luna. 🐾🐾🐾

Grace’s story is a beautiful reminder that sometimes the dogs who need us most just need someone willing to wait for them.

From the fields… to a trap… to a stressful shelter… to a foster home… and finally, home.

This is why we foster.
This is why we don’t give up.
This is why we keep fighting for them. ❤️

💔🐾 HAPPY NATIONAL DOG DAY, FROM ATHENA… 🐾💔

Athena wants to wish everyone a Happy National Dog Day… although, if she could make one wish today, we know exactly what it would be.

To finally have a home. 🥺

Athena is our longest resident, and she is approaching ONE YEAR in the shelter system. One year of watching people walk past her kennel. One year of waiting. One year of hoping that maybe today will finally be her day.

And lately, that hope is getting harder to see. 💔

Athena is kennel stressed. The shelter environment is taking a toll on this sweet girl, and she deserves so much more than a kennel to call home. She deserves a couch. A soft bed. A person to love her. A place where she can finally exhale and know she is safe.

We refuse to believe that there isn’t someone out there for Athena.

Someone has to be. 🥺❤️

Please, on National Dog Day, don’t let Athena’s special day pass without giving her a chance. Share her. Tag someone. Ask your friends. Help us find the person who has been looking for her.

Because after nearly a year of waiting, Athena shouldn’t have to wonder how much longer she has to wait. 💔

🖤 MEET DICE, CHESS, DOMINO & EVE! Four beautiful faces. Four loving personalities. And one heartbreaking reason they’re waiting for a new home.

🤍 Dice, Chess, Domino and Eve are all around 1½ years old and were once housemates, living together in the same home. Through absolutely no fault of their own, their family had to surrender them because of a housing issue. All four are friendly, affectionate, cat-friendly and more than ready to be back in a home as they have been with us since the beginning of July!

🖤 Whether you fall for Dice, Chess, Domino, Eve—or maybe even decide that two hearts are better than one. Dice and Eve do share a kennel and are buddies! These kitties are ready to trade shelter life for a soft bed, a loving family, and a place to finally call home once again!

Athena is still waiting. 💔

We’ve fallen a little behind on her daily posts, but we couldn’t let another day go by without showing you this sweet girl. Here she is getting a small break from her kennel and enjoying a little walk. 🥺🐾

We are begging… please, someone find it in your heart to give Athena the loving home she has been waiting for. She is almost at her one-year mark in the shelter at the end of this month. 😭

She deserves so much more than a kennel. She deserves a family. ❤️
