🐾💙 Trooper Here! Can You Believe This Is Me?! 💙🐾

Hey friends, it’s me…. Trooper. 👋

Not too long ago, I was fighting just to make it through the day. I was skin and bones, scared, and hurting. But the volunteers here… they saw something in me. They said I was strong. They said I was worth saving. And they were right. ❤️

Now look at me, sitting in this big comfy chair like I own the place! I’ve got a full belly, a shiny coat, and this thing humans call hope. I didn’t know what that felt like before.

But even with all the love I’ve found here, my heart’s still waiting for something more… a forever home. Someone who sees past where I’ve been and loves me for the goofy, loyal, snuggly boy I am now.

Oh, and before I forget… see my buddy down there on the floor? That’s my pal Ricky! 🐶 He’s an awesome guy with a big heart, and he’s also waiting for his forever home. We’ve been through a lot together here, cheering each other on. ❤️

We both believe our special humans are out there somewhere… maybe it’s you. 💕

I promise I’ll make you proud. I’ll remind you every day that second chances are real, because I’m living proof. 💪💙

🐾❄️ Alvin & Theodore’s Foster Home Adventures! ❄️🐾

Hey everyone, it’s Alvin and Theodore here!

You won’t believe what we saw today when we went outside… there was this white, fluffy stuff falling from the sky! 🌨️ We sniffed it, chased it, and even tried to eat it (not sure that’s what you’re supposed to do, but it was fun!).

Our foster family laughed as we bounced around, we couldn’t get enough! ❄️🐶 We give this “snow” thing a big paws-up!👍

Our sweet Jerald, a 1-year-old Lab/Hound mix, has found his way into a loving foster home while he waits for his forever family!His foster parents say he’s settling in wonderfully and showing off what a good boy he is.

Our dogs, Lexie, Toby, Milo, Lucy, Carmen, and Jerald, had an incredible time at today’s Autumn Adoption Event with TAPS Pekin, IL!They loved meeting everyone and showed off just how special they are.❤️

We’re so grateful to TAPS for hosting us and letting us join their Open House, your kindness and teamwork means the world!

As full as our hearts are tonight, our kennels are even fuller. 💔 We need adoptions to keep helping more dogs like these. If you’ve been thinking about adding a furry friend to your family, now’s the perfect time!

Join us tomorrow, Saturday, Nov. 8th from 1–4 PM at TAPS No-Kill Animal Shelter (100 TAPS Lane, Pekin, IL) for a special adoption event hosted by TAPS and the Humane Society of Fulton County!❤️

Meet tons of adorable cats and dogs looking for their forever homes!🏡
🐶 HSFC will be outside with our adoptable dogs.
🐱 TAPS will have adoptable pets inside their facility.

👉 Both rescues have separate adoption applications and requirements. HSFC will not conduct dog-to-dog meet & greets at the event, those will be scheduled later once your application is approved.
