✨ Important Updates from A Bar S Veterinary Clinic✨
At A Bar S Vet, we believe that caring for others starts with caring for ourselves and our families.
Dr. Silvey has elected to transition to work hours that allow her to be more present with her family and minimize her absence from important events in her children’s lives. As many of you may know, veterinary medicine can be demanding, and maintaining healthy boundaries is essential for long-term sustainability in our profession.
These changes are also designed to support our incredible staff. Ensuring our team has true downtime to rest and recharge directly impacts mental health, reduces burnout, and allows us to continue providing the highest level of compassionate care to our community. When our team is well, we serve you better. ❤️

📞 Phone System Update
We are transitioning from our current cellular provider to a new VOIP system due to continued service issues. Yesterday, our phones were not working for most of the day, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
At this time, the business hour changes have not been reflected in our current phone system due to a cumbersome process that will be phased out with our new phone provider.
Please be patient with us as we implement this new system over the next month. We are actively working to resolve these issues and improve communication reliability for you.

🏠♿️ Dr. Silvey also wants to remind our community of the following services we offer:
– In-home veterinary services including euthanasias.
– House calls for our elderly and disabled owners.

🚨 Emergency Services
We continue to provide emergency services for both large and small animals clients. In most cases, you must be an established client to receive emergency care outside of normal business hours. Dr. Silvey reserves the right to decline emergency services at any time.
Please always have a backup plan in place in case we are unavailable. If you are unsure about a situation, it is always better to call us during regular business hours before it turns into an after hours emergency. Early intervention is often safer, less stressful, and less expensive.
Our goal is to continue serving our community long-term. Setting clear boundaries allows us to provide sustainable, high-quality emergency care while maintaining the wellbeing necessary to care for both our patients and ourselves.
⸻
We appreciate your understanding and support as we make these important changes to better serve both our families and our community.
We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! Spring is around the corner!!🌟
