Keep your cat safe and cool this summer 🐱☀️

Fresh water and shady spots are essential, and fans help too. If your cat goes outside, make sure they have a dry, safe refuge during storms. Regular brushing removes their undercoat and keeps them comfortable in the heat.

For a refreshing treat, try frozen tuna juice or drained wet food. And don't forget your monthly flea and heartworm preventives to keep them healthy all season long. 💙

We encourage questions and want every client to feel comfortable understanding both the medical recommendations and associated costs.

One thing many pet owners don’t think about until an emergency happens is after-hours care. We encourage everyone to know their veterinarian’s protocol for urgent and emergency situations before they need it.

For our established patients, Allee Veterinary Services provides 24-hour after-hours emergency coverage. When you call with an urgent concern, an on-call team member will return your call and help determine the best next steps for your pet. With multiple veterinarians on staff, we maintain an on-call rotation so your pet has access to veterinary guidance when emergencies arise.

We also reserve urgent care appointments every single day because illnesses and injuries rarely happen at convenient times. Whether your pet develops an ear infection, starts vomiting, suffers an injury, or simply isn’t acting like themselves, we work hard to provide timely care when you need it most.

From routine wellness visits and preventive care to urgent concerns and emergencies, our mission remains the same:

Allee Veterinary Services, Inc. is excited to offer professional grooming services at both our Hamilton and Cameron locations!

Whether your pet needs a full groom, bath and brush, nail trim, de-shedding treatment, or a little extra pampering, our team is here to help keep them looking and feeling their best.

One question we receive often is:

❓ “Why are your grooming health requirements so extensive?”

The answer is simple: patient safety.

Unlike many grooming facilities, both of our locations are full-service veterinary hospitals. In addition to grooming, we provide medical care, boarding, daycare, surgery, and hospitalization services. We also welcome patients from across Missouri and neighboring states, including many visitors traveling to Northwest Missouri.

Every day, we care for healthy pets, senior pets, immunocompromised pets, puppies, kittens, and animals recovering from illness or surgery. Because of this, disease prevention is a responsibility we take seriously.

Our vaccination, parasite prevention, and screening requirements help us:

✔️ Reduce the risk of contagious diseases such as Bordetella, Canine Influenza, intestinal parasites, and other preventable illnesses

✔️ Protect puppies, senior pets, and medically vulnerable patients

✔️ Maintain a healthy environment for boarding, daycare, grooming, and hospitalized animals
